Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Canned Dog Food, 13.5-oz, case of 24
Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.
Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Urinary SO Canned Food was developed to nutritionally support urinary tract and bladder health in adult dogs. It dilutes excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones by increasing the amount of urine your dog produces. This formula promotes a urinary environment unfavorable to the formation of both struvite and calcium oxalate crystals. This specialized nutrition, with a reduced level of magnesium, can help maintain your pup's urinary tract health.
Key Benefits- Formulated for adult dogs with urinary health issues.
- Dissolves pure struvite stones and helps prevent calcium oxalate stones.
- Dilutes excess minerals that can cause crystals and stones.
- Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology is used to help lower ion concentration in urine, which contributes to stone formation.
- Helps with constant trips outside, peeing inside the house and dogs straining to go.

Why should I buy veterinary diets from Chewy?
We offer competitive prices and free shipping on orders over $49. Plus, you'll save more if you sign up for automatic refills with Autoship at Checkout. Chewy experts are available 24/7 to answer any questions you have.
How do I order veterinary diets?
- Search for the diet your veterinarian recommends and add it to your cart. You can purchase your veterinary diets along with any other items you need.
- At Checkout, you'll be asked for your pet's name and veterinary clinic information so we can confirm that the item is authorized by your veterinarian.
- Place your order and we'll take care of contacting your veterinarian. If you have a copy of your authorization, you can expedite the process by uploading a scan or photo of it to the Prescriptions section in your account or your order confirmation. You can also email it to vetdiet@chewy.com.
If your clinic needs more information from you or recommends a different diet, we'll let you know immediately.
I have a copy of the authorization from my veterinarian. Can I send it to you?
Yes. If you have a paper copy of your veterinarian's authorization, you can upload a scan or photo to the Prescriptions section in your account or your order confirmation. You can also email it to vetdiet@chewy.com.
Can I use a veterinarian's authorization if it was written by a veterinarian out of state? Yes. We accept valid authorizations from anywhere in the United States, Canada, and U.S. territories such as Puerto Rico.
Why do I need a veterinarian's authorization?
Veterinary diets are formulated with the precise ingredients and nutrients needed to address specific medical issues. Because these diets are formulated for medical issues, veterinary authorization is needed to advise you on the best way to give them to your pet and to monitor your pet's health while they are on the diet.
Can someone else (such as a caretaker or family member) place an order for my pet?
Yes, but we'll need them to contact us and provide the full name of the pet's owner after the order is placed. This is so the veterinary clinic can locate your pet's records when we contact them. Email us at vetdiet@chewy.com or call us 24/7 at 1-800-672-4399.
Do authorizations expire?
Yes. Your veterinarian will tell us when your authorization expires and how many refills you have before they'd like you to check back in with them.
Can I set up automatic refills? Yes. Sign up for Autoship at Checkout and select how often you need refills. We'll automatically ship your veterinary diets for as long as your authorization allows. If you run out of refills or your authorization expires, we'll automatically contact your veterinarian for a new authorization.
What if I have more questions? How can I reach the veterinary diets team at Chewy?
Email us at vetdiet@chewy.com, start a chat on Chewy.com, or call us anytime at 1-800-672-4399. We're here for you 24/7.

Chewy to the rescue!
By PebblesHealth on Feb 25, 2021
Our Yorkie developed bladder stones. She is 7 years old and has neurological issues. Our vet put her on this food to possibly avoid surgery. It worked, but she now had to stay on this diet forever to avoid future stones. We were getting the food from the vet but then the company was back ordered. She told us to check Chewy. And of course, Chewy had the food. I placed an order, called the vets office with the order number, the office called Chewy with the authorization and the food was on our doorstep 2 days later. We put it on a subscription so we never have to worry about running out. Thanks Chewy for coming to the rescue.

Great for my old girl dog
By Melsko on Feb 25, 2021
Our vet recommended this after she had a urinary tract infection. I kept her on it because they said it would help her urinary health in the long term. She is 14 and has been on it for about 2 years. I only give it to her in the morning with some of her dry food. She loves it! I hide her glucosamine pill in there too. Poor old lady - she needs all the vitamins and help she can get. Pacey is a 35 lb beagle border collie mix that is 14 years old!

Quite pricey!
By Rissy on Feb 14, 2021
I think this food helps keep our dog healthy, but I think, after searching around online, it is waaaay over-priced across the board. And, it's just about the same with the other brand of urinary diet prescription dog food too. I guess it's like the RX'd human medication--inflated pricing (and that's not Chewy, it's Royal Canin). I do have to say that Chewy.com has good customer service and the folks are always quite helpful.

Great SO choice for picky eaters
By MamaB on Feb 20, 2021
My dog Holly is a very picky eater. Before her urinary problems she had eaten the same food for 14 years. It was always difficult to get her to eat anything else other than her favorite people food snacks of course! She took to this food very quickly. She doesn’t have many teeth left so the texture is perfect! I would highly recommend this food

Love this food / Great Service
By LuckyDog on Feb 9, 2021
My vet recommended this brand. My dog loves it. Since it required a Vets perscription, I was recommended to order it on Chewy.com. The process was very easy. Chewy got the verification from my vet and the product was shipped and delivered with just a few days! Now I am on autoship, so I have piece of mind that my dog will not run out of food.

My dog loves it
By Daisy on Jan 15, 2021
My ShihTzu has bladder stones and the Vet suggested this Urinary SO food. It’s very expensive and she’s a picker eater, so I was nervous about ordering it. As it turns out, she can’t wait for dinner now. My only complaint is that it’s sold in two cases of 12, and the cases are bound together in shrink wrap. I can’t lift the weight of 24 cans so I have to ask my neighbor to carry it in for me. I wish that Chewy would package this differently.

Convenient
By FreyasMom on Feb 17, 2021
Ordering in bulk and having it delivered is great. But the auto ship needs some work. My dry foods and wet foods are on different schedules but everything lumps together and I can’t ship them separately. Or if I can I can’t figure it out.

Our Dog Loves It!
By MaryF on Feb 20, 2021
We purchase the wet food since our dog had lost interest in the dry food. We mix a little bit of this wet food with his dry food and he is eager to eat it every time!

Good dietary option
By AlexiaU on Feb 13, 2021
Seems to be a very good option. Just started using it hoping it take some weight off my dogs but haven’t seen any results as of yet. I do think though it is a bit expensive.

Loved it for a week
By Maggie on Jan 28, 2021
She ate it for a week but then refused. Had to order dry version which she likes. Delivery was fast which was great. I now have $150 worth of Rx dog food left but if it dissolves the stones well worth it.
