  • Treats for dogs on special diets

    By on

I’m just glad these are made and that Royal Canine had the good sense to offer this snack. It’s hard to have a dog on a special, strict diet as mine is. I like that I can offer a “cookie”. These also fit in her Kong so I’m able to keep her busy with a treat. I think she figured out this is her food in a different shape but I’m just happy and so is she that I have something to offer her from the treat container I keep on the counter. Chewy is the best. Your customer service is remarkable.

  • Ingredients essentially the same as the kibble

    By on

Granted, I'm not a scientist, but when I opened the treat bag, it smelled just like his kibble. I checked the ingredients of both. Between the two, there are only five ingredients that are in one but not the other. And none of these ingredients are things one could buy in a supermarket. With the exception of sodium sulfate, I can barely pronounce these ingredients. Note: the amounts of some ingredients seem to differ between the kibble and the treats, so that may make a difference in taste. But the treats are MUCH more expensive. Neither am I a mathematician, but my math says the treats cost 40 cents per ounce, whereas the kibble costs 2 cents. The good news is my dog likes his kibble. In the future, I'll save my money and just give him that. BUT, he goes wild over the canned version of this food. When training, I put some canned food in a training feed tube. Since my vet tells me my dog can only have his prescription food, I was naive to think the treats would (even could) be much different from his kibble. … more

  • Decent treat

    By on

My sweet dog has developed allergies so we are trying this HP diet. He had been eating some scrumptious beef jerky treats,,so I think by comparison, this treat is far less savory. But my rather picky dog likes them and is accepting them, so they must be pretty good. It's too soon to tell if these treats in combination with the HP food will help his itchy allergies, fingers crossed this new diet works.

  • Dog is OBSESSED with these

    By on

I was worried she wouldn’t like the hydrolized protein food or treats, but she loves these more than ANY other treat we’ve used for her training. (They smell good, I can’t blame her!) I’d keep buying them even if she didn’t have dietary issues.

  • My dog loved it

    By on

My dog can only have hydrolized protein food so when I found these treats I was really excited. She loves them, they are very small wich is perfect for her size and they have not affected her stomach at all. They have been added to my monthly autoship.

  • Love these Treats

    By on

These are the all time best treats. My dog has never eaten all of her dry food. I now take two treats, crush them and sprinkle on food. She eats the entire bowl. If I just whisper the word treat she comes running!
