    best diet around, but she won't eat it :-(.

    I really did my research when I found out that my cat needed to be on a gastrointestinal diet and she has kidney issues so I wanted it to be low salt and contrary to popular opinion, higher in magnesium than they usually do for kidney diets. Modern research shows that magnesium is excellent for kidneys I really did my research when I found out that my cat needed to be on a gastrointestinal diet and she has kidney issues so I wanted it to be low salt and contrary to popular opinion, higher in magnesium than they usually do for kidney diets. Modern research shows that magnesium is excellent for kidneys, despite what manufacturers have been saying about keep ash down, which comes from magnesium. Now I do not know if there is any ash in a canned food or not but that is beside my point. This was my food of choice. But not my kitties unfortunately. She must eat or her pancreatitis will flare up again, and what she likes to eat is not really good for her condition. But she must eat. So I will unfortunately have to find another food that is more palatable to her. I will not go with science diet, higher in salt and really low in magnesium. … more

    Finicky cat

    I cannot recommend this food. My cat has constipation problems so this was recommended. Tried it right out of can and cat ate juice but left chunks. I later mixed 1/3 Royal Canin to 2/3 Fancy Feast and he tried to eat around RC and then left. Then I decided to blend it in my mini blender with I cannot recommend this food. I later mixed 1/3 Royal Canin to 2/3 Fancy Feast and he tried to eat around RC and then left. Then I decided to blend it in my mini blender with other cat food to make it a pate which he usually eats and he sniffed and turned around and left. I'm going to donate it to our food pantry in hopes someone can benefit from it! Sure wish my cat would have liked it. … more
