To be fair, not especially liked for cat who NEEDS to lose weight!
By MJPMaryland on Aug 20, 2020
But, the other kitties like it a lot. The cat-who-is-overweight prefers kibble, and although we already have tried "only kibble" for weight-loss (high fiber prescription brand), she cries for more and more. We are now trying a combo -- with wet food once a day, and kibble in the morning and evening (keeping to a calorie count of under 170 for her current weight). Luckily, she will eat wet food if nothing else is offered, and this one more than others, so, for that, a good review. But other cats love it -- so, a 5-star review -- and they try to push our pudgy one away to get at her food. Will continue to buy this -- and yes, wet food in the diet does seem to result in weight loss -- more But, the other kitties like it a lot. One cat loves it
By PippinsMom on Jul 2, 2020
My girl cat who doesn't need to lose weight loves this food, although she'll frequently leave the little loaves and eat the gravy. The other cat who need to lose weight won't touch it. Typical finicky cats!

Chonky likes it
By catmom on Mar 1, 2020
My pretty plus size model started snoring loudly. The vet blamed her weight so I put her on the ultra light. I was worried that she wouldn’t accept the new food but she licks the plate clean. No weight loss yet. Will update if that occurs

Better liked by cats

I have continued to search for greater products in cat food and this beats the canned version most important fact is the cats eat it by the pound

Chewy’s is amazing in so many ways. They make check out so easy and shipping within a 2 day period. Costumer service is so friendly you feel important. If you receive something that your pets don’t like, Chewy doesn’t require a return. Great company!

Royal Canin Ultra Light
By Tracie on Apr 22, 2020
My 5 cats all ate this on the first try. That is encouraging. I like it better so far than the canned version.

Older cat enjoys this.
By Ilkcats on Aug 12, 2019
My cat loved the ultra-Lite pate, so I added this to my auto-ship as a special treat. He seems to think it is something special, but scatters it all over when he eats. It really agrees with him. (Before, he had frequent digestive upsets.) I always avoided Royal Canin because it wasn't "grain-free" or additive free, but now I avoid "grain-free", as the Royal Canin brand seems to be better for my sensitive, overweight cat. Good price on Autoship!

This food I give as an extra for her dinner!
By Momo on May 6, 2019
I am glad I found this food for my overweight 4 year old cat...I found out she has gained 1 1/2 lbs since last July and was told to lighten her food, so this Plus a little dry food I hope will help! Having the slow metabolism she seems to have, this is a food she likes! I have always been glad for the employees who answer the Chewy phone #! So much better than Computers since it's nice having a person to ask questions of!

Cat didn't care for it.

We've been trying out the Royal Canin Ultra Light Chunks in Gravy for my non-picky, some would call 'overweight' cat. This food is designed to help cats maintain a healthy weight and avoid weight gain. It also helps maintain lean muscle and has a special blend of minerals and vitamins to help support your cats health. This food comes in a pouch, that thankfully doesnt make a huge mess like some do. There isn't a lot of gravy in the pouch, which kind of turns Jayce off. He is all about wet food that looks like the real food and lots of gravy or juices. The first pouch he loved, the second one we threw away since he wouldn't touch it - it looked darker and different than the first pouch.
