We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet's digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

It works!!!

Our mini doxie needed to shed some pounds. The doctor recommended we switch to a weight care product. Finally her weight is going down rather than up. And, we LOVE the pouches. No more guessing at the correct amount of food to dish out.

Little square packets are better

I love this product! No longer do I have to use utensils when dividing soft food for three dogs! I just push out a third of a pouch on their dishes and cover with dry food. They all love it! I will always have this on hand..

Too Rich for senior dogs

This seemed like such a good idea; I always add a small amount of wet food to my senior dogs' dry food, and these pouches are just the right amount to divide in their dinners...however, after the first time I used it, they both developed super loose stools for the next 24 hours. The food smelled and looked almost like people food,so I can only surmise it was too rich for older dogs
