Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier Adult Canned Dog Food provides tailor-made nutrition for purebred Yorkshire terriers over 10 months old. These small pups tend to be picky eaters, so this formula was made with palatability in mind. Yorkshire Terrier Adult Canned Dog Food stimulates and fully satisfies their appetites with a flavorful meal that’s moderately high in fat and energy density. Select nutrients work together to help maintain their long, naturally soft coat, including omega 3 (EPA and DHA) and 6 fatty acids and a combination of B vitamins such as biotin. This precisely balanced formula also supports good digestion and intestinal transit with soluble and insoluble fibers. Because Yorkshire terriers are known for long life expectancies, this exclusive food supplies specific nutrients to help maintain their health as they mature.

We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.
How are Royal Canin diets preserved?
All of our dry diets are preserved naturally with mixed tocopherols, citric acid, and rosemary extract. Our canned diets are naturally preserved and sterilized during the cooking and canning process.
Where do the ingredients in Royal Canin diets come from?
We select our ingredients based on multiple factors, including the supplier’s compliance with our quality and food safety requirements, consistent availability, and on the nutrients required to meet the dietary needs of the pet.Royal Canin is making strides towards sustainability by attempting to obtain sources of raw materials as close to each manufacturing facility as possible. In some cases, we use international suppliers, because only those suppliers can offer raw materials that comply with our quality and food safety standards.
Why do some Royal Canin diets contain by-products?
Royal Canin chooses ingredients because they deliver high-quality nutrients that support our customized pet food formulas. Using chicken by-product meal instead of chicken meal for example will allow Royal Canin to maintain its highly customized nutrient standards while achieving a more secure and sustainable supply.
Why do some Royal Canin diets contain grains?
Grains can be a healthy part of any cat or dog’s diet. As always, we focus on the nutrients each ingredient provides and grains can provide many important nutrients.
How do you ensure Royal Canin diets are safe for my pet?
Our Quality and Food Safety systems are state-of-the-art and we continue to invest heavily in new technology to make sure they remain that way.* We put our suppliers through a rigorous selection process that doesn’t end with our first purchase.* We monitor every load delivered to our plants to verify the safety and quality of the ingredients we use to make pet food.* We perform tests on finished pet foods before they are shipped to our customers.* We manufacture every pet food we sell, in plants that we own; our plants are ISO 9001:2008 certified for Quality Management and ISO 22000 certified for Food Safety.
How do I know which Royal Canin diet is right for my pet?
Based on size, age, lifestyle, and breed, each cat or dog has unique nutritional needs. For healthy pets, use our Product Selector to find the right diet for your cat or dog.If your pet is experiencing health issues, please refer to your veterinarian for more information. Simon loves it!
By Simon on Feb 12, 2021
My Simon gobbles up his food. He is picky so I'm pleased he gets full. His coat is so long and silky on the Royal Canin diet. I use the can and kibble together. He only weights 4.6 lbs. so the formula is perfect for his digestive system and gives him the energy he needs to keep going. He gets so excited at meals times its amazing! Thank you Royal Canin!

By Specialk on Feb 25, 2021
My Yorkie loves this food but mama doesn’t like the price increase each order I place. I started my auto ship in late 2018 for 5.89 a box of 4 now we’re pushing close to 9.00. I may start subbing in dry food

My Yorkie loves it
By Lorrie on Dec 11, 2020
My Yorkie immediately loved this product. My only complaint is quantity for the price. 4 3oz cans for $7 and some change. I'll buy this occasionally as a special treat.

Tried to see if dog would eat
By Cooper on Sep 28, 2020
OK, It is hard to find something my dog will eat. Usually after 2 or 3 meals of the same food he gets tired of it and will not eat it again for some time. So I have to try different foods just to get him to eat
