  • Body: Measure the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Add 2 inches for comfort.

  • Neck: Measure around your dog's neck leaving room for two fingers.

  • Chest: Most important measurement; measure your dog's chest around the widest part. Add 2 inches for comfort.

    Disappointed

While I had high hopes for this costume, I found that the one size fits all concept is far from true. I have a roughly 32 pound corgi and had to have the two straps around her belly resewn to much small dimensions. Also, the head piece is far too small for her, so I can only imagine how bad it would be for large dogs. Because of the head piece being so small, the horns don't hang correctly and look more like tusks. Lastly, the rider needs to have something stiff inserted in order to keep him upright. He just falls backwards and pulls the entire thing to the side and drags on the floor. The only positive is that this does look like a sand person and bantha, but functionally, it needs a lot of While I had high hopes for this costume, I found that the one size fits all concept is far from true. “One size fits all” doesn’t always fit all

    By on

We have a 25lbs Aussie-Cattle dog and the two straps around his belly were a little too big. We sewed them in a few inches— no problem. But the head piece was far too small and looked more like something only a chihuahua or another small dog would wear. After we adjusted the straps to fit around his body the Tuscan raider did not want to stay upright and kept falling back and to the side when our dog went forward. It’s a great costume, it just didn’t work out for our buddy.

    Should have read reviews

This was an I'll concieved costume. The headpiece would fit a small dog and the body piece is too big on my boxer mix. The rider does not sit up either. Since my son has Stormtrooper armor we are going to try and modify the straps and use the horns to make a new hat. We are also going to try and find a way to make the rider stay in an upright position as it is cute. However, it is very frustrating to have to put more money and quite a bit of time into trying to make this work.

    I wouldn’t buy again.

The costume is of ok quality, but the straps to the outfit are horribly off. The head straps was to small and the body straps to large. I had to tailor the outfit to fit my dog. I was extremely disappointed and I didn’t have time to return and get a new outfit before Halloween.

First joy in years. Third times a charm.

I first bought it for my hamster. He fit in the little guy perfectly. I was able to use the extra material to line his cage. This stuff lasts three times better than traditional hamster saw dust. TALK ABOUT ADDED VALUE!!! I also let my daughter try it on but it was just too small for her, Which is why I rated four not five stars. Looking back I would definitely order it again or recommend to a friend or love one. If you are still reading this, buy NOW. Opportunities like this are overlooked and seldomly capitalised. Everyone should get one.

Cute but definitely not one size fits all

    By on

Got it for my 76 lb Ridgeback mix and it fits him in the stomach but will not even fit the little bump on his bit noggin. It won't fit around one of his chubby chins and it slides all the way down on the stomach. The character does not stand up. I do not recommend.

    Not one size fits all

    By on

The body piece does fit around my 110 lb Cane Corso, but she has a large mastiff-like head, which the head piece does not fit on, it does fit on my shih-tsu's head.

Doesn't work as well as pictured

The costume in theory is great but the rider doesn't sit well and with every body shake the rider ends up upside down under dogs belly

    Don’t recommend

Does not fit well and the hat did not stay on his head and the little man that is supposed to sit on top of their back falls off.

    Did not fit

Did not fit The description implied that one-size-fits-all not the case with a 74 pound golden retriever was too small
