This is a large bowl and can hold a lot of water but it’s floppy, if you fill it all the way the sides of the bowl flop and fold and water spills out. Best for outside use, place on the ground and fill with the hose.
Works great, my dog and cats loves it. It’s easy to clean
1 year old puppy destroyed in less than 1 week. Not at all what I expected either. More flimsy than expected. Side walls easily mis-shaped in shipping and don’t stand up as firm as I wanted. Disappointed.
It came in a green and blue color. My dog thinks it's a toy, which isn't that big of a deal. It's held up pretty well to her flinging it around. My main problem with it is that it discolors and I cannot get it clean. It is constantly slimy, no matter what I clean it with. I'm going to discontinue using it as a food bowl.
Maybe I didn't look at this close enough. But I thought this was made out of a hard rubber. This is very chintzy and I have a feeling my dog is going to chew it up in a week or so suggested that you know they
Been using these for my dogs’ food for a couple years & they are still like new. Only without the yucky rubber smell, which, oddly, didn’t bother my picky dogs at ALL when they were new. It goes away in a week or 2. I like rubber because I don’t want my dogs to have to smash their teeth into a hard bowl when they eat. The raised logo is a little hard to clean but as long as I put some water in them after they finish, they’re fine. I put them on the middle or upper rack of the dishwasher once or twice a week in addition to regular hand washing. I’m back to order another one for water because one of my dogs is afraid of stainless & stoneware bowls. This should be perfect for him!
My special needs grey Newfoundland loves this dish. He has had 5 surgeries on his legs with plates & rods inserted and bones removed due to genetic defects. This bowl allows him to lay down to eat, since standing to eat is too painful and he can bend the sides down to finish his food without dumping his bowl. It even allows him to as us for more, as he picks it up when empty and brings it to us asking for more. Since it is dish washer safe, i have washed it on the top rack several times and the rubber smell is almost gone. NOTE: I do remove it before the dry cycle starts. I do the same with all his XL Tuff Dawg toys and his "Original" Kong Toys". He is a big boy and loves to chew. The above two brands are the only things I have found that he has not destroyed. Love these 22c bowls. I use a pitcher to fill with water outside. I'm too much of a klutz to use for water inside because I have a tendency to trip over the dishes even though they are always in the same spot.
Have not used the bowl yet because it has such a strong odor. My dog doesn't want to eat out of it. Maybe with time the odor will dissipate.
lol... ya get whatcha get. I don't think cosmo minds.... seems like a good product, tbd, we literally just got it, washed it and filled it
