Not worth it
I purchased this product thinking it was made in America. Due to dogs dying from Jerky made in other countries i try to be alert. I had faith in Chewy. It said USA in big print. Small print says TESTED IN USA, made in China. Not only was this misleading the jerky is very difficult to break up into small pieces. Very thick and hard to deal with and not worth the time or effort considering not a USA product.
Great treats!
My dogs love chicken/turkey jerky and we gave these treats a try - and they loved them, although a bit tough for smaller dogs to chew. I would recommend these, just for larger dogs.
Yummy treats
My dog absolutely loves these treats. I break them in half so they last longer. They stay fresh and they are a healthy treat.
My Dog Goes Bonkers For These
I use to do a Glucosamine/Chondroitan chewable, and it was hit and miss on if my dog would voluntarily eat it or not. She LOVES the Healthful Jerky, and freaks out whenever I open the package. She gets one each night for her bedtime treat, after her final potty outing, and she literally races to her room to get it. It took about 3 weeks to notice any affects, but they have eliminated her stiffness in the morning and after long walks, also.
DO NOT BUY THIS FOR YOUR DOG
My soon to be 1 year old pup woke me up this morning vomiting BLOOD. YES bright red blood. This was the only thing he had eaten that was out of the norm. After 2 hours and $350, the vet said they couldn’t really tell us what was wrong unless we spent more time and money on tests. I knew deep down that these jerkey treats were the problem. Look it up, jerkey treats are NOT good for your dog at all. They can’t digest it properly and it can mess up their kidneys. Take my word for it and DO NOT BUY THESE TREATS
Yummy Treat
My dog was recently diagnosed with osteoarthritis in her shoulder. I bought this product because it contained Glucosamine and Chondroiten,,,,,she absolutely loves this treat.
I think they dangerous
I normally don't do reviews but because my dogs nearly died I feel I should make you aware of the dangerous strings in it. So everyone can check the Jerky pieces before giving it to their dogs, so you don't have to go through what I had to. Those Jerky have some kind of strings in it, dogs can suffocate on them and even if they reach the stomach they can cause a condition called “linear foreign body” in the intestine causing slicing and literally sawing through the intestine and cause a perforation. Afterwards I checked every piece in all 4 packs and each had those strings in it. I buy a lot of Chicken Jerky but from other brands and I never had something like this. I attached a picture to help what I mean.
