Safari Bamboo Pin & Bristle Combo Dog Brush

Best Pin Brush!

I have a Rough Collie who is very sensitive to brushing. The solid balled pins are gentle on her skin and perfectly spaced to brush thru her dense coat without pulling and still lifting her under coat. There is a "just right" amount of give while still having firmness in the cushion head, other brushes I have tried were too mushy and just raked thru the top coat or too firm and pulled thru her coat. She may hide when I pull out the brush, but doesn't cower, whine or jerk away when I brush her, which was the case with other pin brushes I had used. The Bristle side is just right for my American Staffie mix who loves to be brushed. 2 dogs, one brush, it's a win!

Great grooming tool

I have two dogs - one with "setter mix" and the other is lab and border collie. This brush helps out a great deal with both types of hair. Of all the brushes I've bought through the years, this one is the best.

100 percent Maddie approved

We love this brush. Each day after brushing her teeth, Maddie loves getting her fur brushed. Always has, for years. But with this new brush she is over the moon happy. Lays down on her side and actually puts her top front paw up so I can brush her belly, chest and neck with the soft side of the brush! It's easy to use and great for providing me the chance to hunt for ticks or any bumps on her skin. She happily rolls onto her tummy and I use both brush sides to tackle her sides and back as well. It does a great job releasing and removing any loose fur and her coat is shiny and soft. We even use it to groom her legs. The brush is easy to clean, too. Nice to keep the fur off our floors and away from her napping spots. Good find!

Works Fine

I'm replacing an old double sided bristle/wire brush with a bamboo handle which I really liked but couldn't not find the exact replacement. This one works just as well but not as cool as the stripe handle bamboo brush.

It’s fine, I guess

I was looking to replace a CHI slicker/bristle brush that I’ve had for years, which my cats loved until the head came loose from the neck, and anytime it would fall off during use, they’d run for their lives. So I thought a single piece brush would be better but bristles on both sides aren’t packed tightly enough, and the head is still too big for to comfortably brush their little bodies. Would be better suited for a larger critter.

She loves it!

Bristle brush has just the right firmness for our 10 month old 35lb dog. The pin half provides a nice massage. The bamboo handle is light and easy to manage (though the dog thinks it is a chew toy ... :-).

Nice quality brush

Does a fine job on my Westies’ double coats. Very pleased.
