If you’re itching for a way to identify fleas fast, turn to Safari’s Cat Flea Double-Sided Comb. The soft bristles pull out fleas from deep within your furbaby’s coat so you can quickly discover the little pests. Add a quick comb-through during your regular grooming throughout the year—especially during the springtime and summertime when fleas are most active—to help you detect flea infestations early. Plus, the fine-toothed comb will help you identify dry, flaky skin so you can give your paw-tner relief at the first sign of skin irritation.

No not waste the shipping time!

By Strawberry on Sep 28, 2021

This comb did not brush out even the largest of adult fleas! Shouldn’t not even be offered in chewy in my opinion, normally chewy has the best products in a lot of areas and this really disappointed me!

    Great comb

By TomW on Oct 10, 2021

This plastic comb is small, easy to handle, and perfect for little furry faces. I use it for grooming around whiskers and eyes.

    Bendy tines

By Target on Sep 10, 2021

Difficult to squish fleas against the center bar and tines bend and get stuck together.

    Not worth anything

By PJLH on Jul 31, 2021

Didn't hold onto the fleas at all! By the time I was removing the comb from the cat the fleas were already jumping off it!

    Cheap flea comb

By BlackVelvetEllijay on Aug 15, 2021

Great price but hard to hold and the teeth are too short and don't take out much hair.

    Effective Flea Comb

By Mike on Feb 28, 2021

The Safari cat flea comb has small, tightly placed tines that enable the removal of the small, dead fleas. Since the comb does not kill the fleas itself, it should be used with a non-foaming flea wash. The comb is plastic which is good and bad. It’s good because the chances of it hurting your pet are practically none. The bad is that it is less durable than a metal comb. I would recommend it, especially to be used with older pets or those that have more sensitive skin.

    works good :)

By Georgie on Mar 14, 2021

So this pulls fleas out really well and my cats love it! Very much like a headlice comb. Only issue is sometimes the litter fleas getting stuck between to prongs at the base. But I love it, very worth the money!

    Best Flea Comb!

    By 2spooky on Apr 14, 2020

This is the best flea comb for our cats. All are short haired kitties and this comb works well to find those pesky fleas! Thirteen years ago, I took in a feral kitten. She's been a sweet kitty, but still is a bit flighty at times. I can't use the flea comb properly on her, that is, brushing her fur backwards, which I know is the proper way to use the comb. I use a Furminator on my feral kitty, which she loves and gets her twitchy all over. I think this annoys the fleas enough to bring them to the surface of her fur. I can quickly comb out the flea and dunk it in some very hot sudsy water with a dollop of dish soap. The fleas quickly go down to their watery grave where they belong!!!!
