Continue to Canada siteGrooming is an essential part of keeping your pet clean and healthy. Coastal Pet Products offers a full selection of Safari grooming tools that make this task quick and easy. One product that is essential for every household with pets is a flea comb. This comb can be used to make sure flea control products are working properly. In addition, the closely spaced teeth on a flea comb allow you to examine the overall condition of the coat. Dry skin that may appear after bathing is easily detected when using this flea comb. For pets with skin afflictions, dried blood collected in the fine teeth of this comb will alert your customer that their pet may have a rash, sore or other problem.

Before using, groom your cat with a Safari cat comb or brush to remove mats and tangles that could damage the teeth of the flea comb. If needed, apply flea treatment before combing.
Comb your cat slowly, periodically checking the teeth of the comb for fleas or debris. Pay particular attention to areas around the ears, nape of neck and base of tail. Between strokes, dip the cat flea comb into a cup of water with mild detergent to kill the fleas left on the comb.
We source all our products from manufacturer approved distributors or directly from the manufacturers. Chewy takes pride in ensuring that our furry friends’ wellbeing is always our top priority. We have worked hard to partner with all of the manufactures to deliver 100% authentic products
Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.
I lost my flea and tick comb that we had already and was looking through the website, and wow let me tell you… it works! Both of my cats are black and white but mainly more black. Since PJ and Prince love to have some outdoor time it’s highly important for me to brush them. So if my current one breaks or gets lost I’ll definitely get another one of these.
Our favorite flea weapon. This probably our fifth Safari Comb. Prefer this model with single row of teeth (fleas hide in between 2-row design.) Comb is sturdy, easy to keep clean and long-lasting--just don't misplace this essential tool, and keep extras!
I wasn’t confident this would work, but I used it on my cat whom I suspected has fleas, and sure enough this comb got at least 4 of those suckers! I’m very impressed and happy this works!
I bought this comb two years ago and it is still going strong. My Mystique loves getting combed with this comb. Unfortunately she sometimes gets out and comes back with unwanted guests, but this comb gets even small fleas off of her. Best Ever!
Needed a Flea comb for a few strays I brought in. Used this to check for fleas/ticks, then used it post flea bath to check/remove surviving fleas/ticks. Kittens had no complaints and tool was sized well enough to accommodate my large hands.
This is a wonderful flea comb, and it was on sale too. I only wish I did not need it!
My cats line up to be combed. The comb works well for both long-haired and short haired cats.
Got at least 10 fleas on first use. Every pet owner needs one.
Works perfectly! finally a good flea comb.
