Innovative safety stop greatly reduces risk of injury.
Holding the paw firmly, trim top of nail with a single stroke. Be careful to stop short of the quick, the blood vessel inside the nail. Use safety stop to prevent trimming nails too short. These nail clippers are great! As a professional dog groomer I tend to run through cheap nail clippers faster than water through a sieve, but these have quickly become my favorite pair. The grip section is perfect and easy to hold on to, while the clippers themselves stay sharp and don’t take too much hand-strength to use. Perfect for big dogs with tough nails!
Great for a first time nail clipper

Got these for my grey and I had never trimmed dog nails before. After seeing many people do it andb learning how tolerant my girl was, I decided to give it a go. These are great and cut nicely/cleanly without too much resistance. I like the guard as well. I don't even put the nail that far in, but it's nice to have a barrier too prevent me from slipping. After several nail trimmings, I am very pleased.

This is the worse dog nail clipper I have ever used. I have always had between 2 to 6 rescued dogs in my family at one time for the last 50 years so I have cut a lot of nails and have used many different brands of clippers but these were by far the worse one.
They are very difficult to use, not sharp at all, took a lot of strength to cut, and pinched my hand and my dogs are between 75pds and 95pds so unfortunately I can not use or even donate them
I have Chihuahuas

We have all Chihuahuas and Chihuahua mixes. This worked good. They are quite patient with me. I use this first then the Dremel so they aren’t sharp and quick stop just in case. Flour also works in a pinch but not nearly as well as quick stop.
Blade is sharp. Didn’t squeeze or shred their nails and it’s quick and to the point. Sometimes having one person hold the pet and one cut is ideal.

I have a golden puppy that will let me, brush her teeth, brush her, clean her ears, ect. but as soon as you touched her feet she flipped out and turned into the devil. I had a bigger pair of clippers so figured I would try these. They arrived smaller than I thought, but ended up being perfect for handling and hiding in the palm of my hand so she didn't see me coming. I slowly started introducing her to these and low and behold she let me clip 3 nails! This was winning in my book. HA... 3 is better than none. As of today I have been able to get up to 5 nails and I know slowly she will let me start to do them all at once. So while these are small, they are perfect for the baby. Worked like a charm. I removed the safety cover because it kept falling in the way of the nail, but it was perfect for my saint bernards who did not even flinch. Very sharp, accurate tool, and I am left handed, making it a difficult job for me to get right!
Good at first

I really liked these clippers! They are sharp, and easy to handle. However, the back safety stopper-to prevent from cutting too far, became loose. It no longer stays in place and it swings from end to end, making it too risky for me to use. I’ve tried tightening, but it doesn’t budge.
Makes nail clipping easy
on Aug 5, 2019
This product makes nail clipping easy. My dog doesn't flinch or squirm a bit. They're comfortable to hold, sharp for quick clipping and the stopper takes some of the worry out of it for the owner. Nice to be able to do this at home!
Big dog approved

My big dog has very thick nails that were too much for my old clippers. These are great. They go through his nails so easily and make trimming time go smoothly. Good quality. I'd recommend them over anything cheaper.
