    SUPER easy to clean

    Still a great slicker brush - I compared the amount of hair my old one picked up to ths one and they were close enough. My last brush had wires that were a little longer, so i noticed it would loosen up more "flakes" from her skin near her rump where she can't groom, but since I have been grooming her Still a great slicker brush - I compared the amount of hair my old one picked up to ths one and they were close enough. My last brush had wires that were a little longer, so i noticed it would loosen up more "flakes" from her skin near her rump where she can't groom, but since I have been grooming her more regularly there may just not be any more flakes now that I use the new brush. OR it was too hard ti clean the old brush so some of the flakes I saw were just coming off the brush from the last time I brushed her (GROSS - I always pulled all the hair out but I don't know how effective I was at removing all dandruff from the brush pad). This one, you press the lever and the wires retract COMPLETELY - all their hair slides off with the lightest push!! I never thought grooming wouldn't include puncturing/stabbing my knuckle and cuticles while fishing the last of the hairs out of the brush.I can never go back!! … more

    brush smelled weird. neither cat likes the texture

    I was hoping the cats would like this brush. I can't seem to find the brush we used to have with the hairbrush looking brush on one side and metal with soft end on the other. This brush is soft, but does not pick up loose hair. But that may also be because both cats move away from it. The texture freaks I was hoping the cats would like this brush. But that may also be because both cats move away from it. The texture freaks out both cats. It is plastic all the way through. It seems to be well made. There was a weird plastic smell that does not go away, even with multiple washings. It may work for your cat. Just a strike out for me. I will keep looking. … more
