Not quite as breakaway as I wanted.
I have owned this collar for a little over a year and it still looks amazing. The color is still great and it looks great. The issue is the breakaway part wasn't doing it's job. Today my cat was stuck and struggling so i rushed over to help and found the collar would not break away regardless of what i did. I managed to get her out of it and had to really mess with it before finally it worked. Not sure if it has to do with the age of the collar, but thought to give a heads up on anyone who is thinking about it that they may want to replace it once a year.
Cute collar but not very well made
I love the way this collar looks on my cat. It is really cute and sparkly. It does not feel as sturdy as the Red Dingo brand of collar and the bell is a bit more jingly. But my kitty looks cute and overall I am happy with the purchase.
Great collars
We love the two collars we bought our cats. They are beautiful. I love how sparkly they are. Lunas is red and Sweetie Pies is purple. The girls are now all blinged out. We also got the matching engraved name tags. We are very pleased with them.
Oh No She Won't!
This collar is so adorable, and definitely HER color (red) - but Miss NimblePie objects most strongly to wearing it! She hid in shame for 36 hours and then begged to have it removed. NOT a "collar-able" cat. Guess a cute Halloween costume is out of the question too! Great quality product, but not for THIS kitty.
my pretty girl
I absolutely LOVE this collar! Definitely not a kitten collar so my sweet girl had to grow into it but now she’s a total diva! The bell makes a dull ding compared to her brother’s collars that are loud and high pitched. I added some accessories to it but I love the collar by itself too!
Plastic on clasp cracks easily upon removal
because you need to bend it a little to remove the collar it doesn't take very long for the plastic to crack and break. Only had a few months before plastic cracked and need to buy a new collar, hopefully more durable!
my cats skin became irritated
These were super cute and I was beyond excited to have my three cats prance around with glittery sets. However after 24 hours the scratching became so bad that their skin was pink and irritated. The inside of the collar is mostly smooth but a portion of it is rough and rubbed against their fur/skin causing irritation. I had to do what any good pet parent would do and discard all three collars. I think any domestic short haired cat is not well suited for this particular collar.
BEWARE OF CLASP
I've had this on my cat for over a year because she kept losing her collars. I heard her start coughing, I go to where she is and she was stuck due to her collar. She was literally choking herself. It never broke away. If the clasp is hard for you to get off, take a pass on this.
Beautiful and Durable
I have 7 all-black cats and needed different colors to identify. These collars won't fray like others.
Diva collar
Breakaway works a bit harder than a previous collar, but love the black sparkly bling on our calico babies. We also added an additional little bell.
