My Rats Are Obsessed!

It’s been difficult trying to find a balanced block for my adult rats. They wouldn’t even touch a fair amount of different brand blocks and are heavy chewers. Even putting tiny amounts of malt paste on some pieces didn’t work at all and they go insane for malt paste. I put this in their food bowls one day and never stopped! Great block base for your adult rats diet!

Rattos won’t eat it

I had high hopes for this food, seeing that it seems nutritionally well-balanced for adult rats and I like that it’s made in the UK. My rats, however, have declared mutiny and have repeatedly moved all of it into their bathroom corner :( I tried introducing it slowly and they ate around it. It’s now been a solid month and they’re still not fond of it so I’m going to need to discontinue it. To me it smells kind of like a rice cake so I get it! Before this they’ve eaten Harlan-Teklaad and Oxbow regal rat with no issues, so this one is a no for me.

Lab rat quality

It’s probably the best vegetarian or even best overall rat diet and the bag is huge, it will probably last me 3 months I have two big Joie bags full of them and some left over in the bag still lol.

Only kibble my rats will eat

As the title says, this is the only kibble I feed my rats as they are picky brats and would rather starve than nibble at an oxbow or mazuri block. They are very happy with this and they are hard enough that they love to crunch on them, but my rat with tooth problems can still chew them with his molars. I do wish for the quantity that the price wasn't so high, as with four rats a single bag lasts about a month even when mixed with some extra grains, nuts, and vegetables.

RATS LOVE IT!

My daughtets rats absolutely love this food. She has to make sure she doesn't overfeed them with this food because they can easily overeat it, that's how much they like it. Definitely worth every cent. I highly recommend buying it, especially if your rats are picky about their food like hers are.
