Are you sure this is the complete ingredients list? The bag I purchased in store recently has a much bigger ingredients list and different nutritional analysis.

The ingredients listed under the ingredient panel on Chewy are UK based, you would wanna look at the USA/CAN section as that has the complete list.
Why is it made of alfalfa if it is for adult rabbits?

Good rabbit food

This is my rabbits' favourite. They just love this food. I know that it is not the best of the bests (according to a lot of people), but I tried all those super expensive pellets for my rabbits and they either hated them, or they got digestive problems. So we stick with this one and my bunnies are happy. :)

MC bunny

Not purchased through chewy, chewy your price point is higher then even the brick and mortar stores, I am caring for a Megacolon Bunny and this pellet along with a special hay I found (fortified horse hay) are working well and helping her have solid stools and not mushy wet cow poops. I have cared for other MC bunnies in the past, but the products I used then are no longer available. In addition also using oxbow digestive tabs.

Picky rabbit approved!

After 8 years, the previous brand of food I bought for my rabbits was discontinued. I tried several other brands and they simply refused to take a bite. I was down to my last cup of the other brand and I was so worried they would refuse to eat anything. Then I provided them Science Selective and they LOVED it. I am so relieved and will continue to buy Science Selective.

Snoop absolutely loves this brand! She turns her nose up to any other brand. Getting the 8 pound bag lasts us a couple of months. So if you’re looking for something to have your bunnies eat. Try this one.

Mix With Timothy Hay Based Pellets

My bunnies really like Science Selective rabbit foods. Since these are alfalfa based pellets, I only mix a few in with their Timothy pellets which are healthier for adult rabbits. Either that or as other reviewers mentioned, use as a treat.

Bunny food

Our bun bun can be so picky and I have yet to find a food that he just loves to have. Then we found this!!! He begs for this more than he does his fresh veggies!

Loves this food!

I work for a veterinary hospital and when a rep contacted us about their products and gave us samples of their food and recovery plus critical care. I tried one of the samples of food on my bunny and she immediately started eating the pellets. (She is a very picky bunny). Ever since then she will only eat this pellet food and turns her knows up at everything oxbow (oxbow pellets and hay are what she use to eat). I did some research into the company as well and was very pleased with the research that goes into their foods. I would highly recommend this food and other small mammal products this company offers!

Our bunny won't eat anything else

Our one rabbit is a picky eater and very moody overall since he was a baby and getting him to eat pellets has always been a challenge. We have tried going away from this product a few times because money is tight and this is more expensive than our other bunnys food so we figured we would try getting them both on the same one. But these pellets must be literal bunny crack because we have tried many other brands and our picky eater wont even look at them. He loves his food and gets excited every time we give him more plus our veterinarian likes it too because our bunny is in good health. We will never be able to switch brands or products. This food is the one and only for our picky eater. God help us if our other bunny discovers that they get different food. We may go broke.

good brand good pellet

It’s good. I feed my bun twice daily along with fresh leafy greens. The vet mêd tech / foster recommended this brand. I only buy quality and this is it.
