Description

The ScoopFree Ultra Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box is the self-cleaning box that you can leave alone for weeks at a time. Simply plug in the box and watch it work. The automatic rake system sweeps waste into the covered compartment 5, 10 or 20 minutes after your cat uses the litter box, with a timer that will reset if the safety sensors detect your cat has re-entered the box. The health counter lets you track how many times your cat has used the litter box to quickly identify possible health problems. A privacy hood keeps the litter in the box, and it comes with one tray of special crystal litter to get you started—and it’s five times more effective at reducing odor than clay or clumping litters! It’s literally a breath of fresh air at all times.

Key Benefits

  • Self-cleaning automatic rake system cleans entire box 20 minutes after your cat goes to the bathroom. The rakes moves waste into a separated closed waste compartment for superior order control.
  • Crystal litter is formulated to eliminate odors 5 times more efficiently than clay or clumping litter. It is also designed to absorb urine on contact and dries solid waste to reduce odor.
  • Plastic litter tray liners prevent leaking that can stink up your home. Disposable litter trays are ideal for easy clean-up and this box includes 1 litter-filled tray to get you started.
  • This product has been rigorously tested at manufacture's labs for more than 100,000 cycles without failure or jamming.
  • Extremely efficient as this system uses 5 to 10 times less litter than clay and clumping litter.

Fresh and Clean Every Time

Fresh and Clean Every Time

Every time kitty needs to go, she'll step into a dry, freshly cleaned litter box—the kind cats prefer. The motorized rake sweeps new waste into the covered compartment, waiting 20 minutes after your cat uses the box so she won't be startled. Because it's automatic, the ScoopFree box stays clean for weeks at a time. One tray lasts 20-30 days before needing to be replaced, for single-cat homes.

3 Simple Steps

Load It

1. Load It

Lift the box and slide a disposable litter tray underneath. It only takes a minute!

Leave It

2. Leave It

ScoopFree automatically rakes the waste into a covered trap, so you can relax.

Toss It

3. Toss It

Replace the soiled tray every few weeks with a fresh one.

Fast-Drying Crystals for Odor Control

The blue silica crystals in each disposable tray are five times more effective at odor reduction than clay or clumping litters. Liquids are trapped by the leakproof liner, and the crystals work fast to absorb them on contact. A dry litter box is less prone to bacterial growth—and the smell that comes with it.

  • I'm going to love the ScoopFree litter box

    By on

I received my ScoopFree litter box, on time, in 2 days. My new kitties are transitioning to it quite nicely and I'm going to love the automatic cleaning. After 35 years of cat ownership, scooping boxes, is going to be a task of the past. And the auto-ship is a nice feature especially in the winter I won't have to be lugging in bags of litter through the snow from my car. I'm going to add food and treats delivery as well to this convent service. And as an added feature the box came with a cat amusement activity, the brown shipping paper has given my kitties hours of fun.

I can't stand the smell of a regular litter box, sooooo gross! This magical litter box is absolutely worth every penny. No more nasty odors and no more badgering the kid to clean her cats litter box. I was concerned kitty wouldn't take to the new box, but after the quick and easy assembly, I placed the new box where to old one was and added a bit of waste from the old box....it worked like a charm and I am so pleased.

  • Litterbox robot

It works great. Our problem is with our cat (who has loose stools - not your litterbox fault), so the blades build up with this substance. We probably need to take our cat to the vet for the loose stools due to feeding her kitty treats plus she's on urinary care cat food. It sure beats scooping out the items by hand anyway.

  • No more smell!

    By on

I have tried just about every cat litter device out there , so I thought I would splurge on this litter box. It is worth every penny. My cats used this 84 times and I could barely smell anything. Imagine if they had used a regular box 84 times! I love that all I had to do was put a lid on it when I changed it. The solid waste is contained in a compartment and I didn't even have to look at it ( or smell it)!

  • Really works!

I have a new kitten and she wants her pan to be clean all the time - this litter box does a good job at that. My other cat is 13 pounds and took to it immediately in fact they both spent the first two days watching the pan eagerly hoping it would scoop! With two cats I need to change it every 2 weeks, I do clean out some of the poop after one week because it does fill up the hold and I had some mold after leaving it for two weeks the first time. The crystal litter keeps the smell down quite well.

  • Good fit. Absorbs odor

    By on

This is the first automated litter box I have owned and so far everything has been great. It fits my large cats well, but they are still too afraid of it to use with the dome on. Poops are initially stinky, but those crystals absorb odor soo well. The only downside is the price of litter refills.

  • Not the best

    By on

I have had this for 3 months and I keep wanting to make it work out for us but I would have rather stayed with a normal litter box. My cat was terrified of the hood on it and he couldn't move within it because the box is so small (he is 11lbs). I had to take the hood off so he would use it. It smells constantly. It smells like straight cat urine after only using a brand new box for less than a week. The crystals do not help that smell at all and my cat does not like the crystals (I believe they hurt his paws). I have to scoop out the container maybe twice a week because it gets backed up. I am disappointed in this product.

  • Can't stop laughing

This is the greatest litter box! It is very easy to assemble - my son with Down Syndrome read the instructions and assembled it while I was at work! Our two cats were leery, at first.- however, while one has gotten over her apprehension, the other works very hard at hiding her poo from that blasted machine. After she does her business, and spends several minutes covering the poo, she waits at the other end of the room until she hears the Scoopfree start running. She then slowly creeps up to it, sticks her head in and, I am sure, is one of many cats who is sure her poo is being harvest for subversive reasons.

There is more wrong with this box than right. First of all, the box is too small. My 11 pound cat barely fits inside and that's with the hood and the lid lifter off. Add the lifter and hood and there is little room for the cat AND they have to climb over the lid lifter and through the small entry hole to access the litter. That being said, my older cat used the box right away. My younger cat was afraid of it and refused to poop inside the box. Luckily, he pee'd in it with no problem. I had to leave the unit unplugged and both the lifter and the hood off for him to go into the box. I had to leave the unit unplugged and both the lifter and the hood off for him to go into the box. When he does get in (granted this is becoming more frequent) it takes him forever to find a spot where he is not touching the sides of the box . If he does decide to poop in the box (no accidents in 2 days), I have to put the lid lifter back on, plug the unit in, and manually cycle it. This brings me to the size of the "poop storage reservoir". It is WAY too small and I have to manually scoop it out every 3 days or so to make room for more poop. Maybe I haven't let the desiccant do it's job, but either way a full reservoir keeps the box from functioning properly. Just an FYI, I have had the unit for less than a week and I have already changed out the litter box. The crystal litter does keep the smell down, which is why I went to this box to begin with. However that is a function of the litter and not of the box itself. I can't really speak to the longevity of the mechanism as I have only had the unit for less than a week. I have ordered the non disposable box and will use non clumping, crystal litter in it. Hopefully, I'm not throwing good money after bad and I (and my kitties) will learn to like it. … more

Big investment to risk on something that may or may not work. It is a drastically different experience and Kitty didn't know what to do. She explored and figured it out. She wasn't wild about the crystals (not sure we are either) and vet says she is quite possibly allergic to the crystals. We are ordering one refill to try for a while longer. We'll see. I will say, the entire contraption and process is not quite as seamless as it is made to sound. Also, the tray needs to be scooped (more than just the rake) far more frequently than "weeks." We bought the pad, which so far hasn't minimized tracking crystals from the box, but maybe she'll figure it out soon.
