Description

The ScoopFree Ultra Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box is the self-cleaning box that you can leave alone for weeks at a time. Simply plug in the box and watch it work. The automatic rake system sweeps waste into the covered compartment 5, 10 or 20 minutes after your cat uses the litter box, with a timer that will reset if the safety sensors detect your cat has re-entered the box. The health counter lets you track how many times your cat has used the litter box to quickly identify possible health problems. A privacy hood keeps the litter in the box, and it comes with one tray of special crystal litter to get you started—and it’s five times more effective at reducing odor than clay or clumping litters! It’s literally a breath of fresh air at all times.

Key Benefits
  • Self-cleaning automatic rake system cleans entire box 20 minutes after your cat goes to the bathroom. The rakes moves waste into a separated closed waste compartment for superior order control.
  • Crystal litter is formulated to eliminate odors 5 times more efficiently than clay or clumping litter. It is also designed to absorb urine on contact and dries solid waste to reduce odor.
  • Plastic litter tray liners prevent leaking that can stink up your home. Disposable litter trays are ideal for easy clean-up and this box includes 1 litter-filled tray to get you started.
  • This product has been rigorously tested at manufacture's labs for more than 100,000 cycles without failure or jamming.
  • Extremely efficient as this system uses 5 to 10 times less litter than clay and clumping litter.

Take a Break From Litter Duty

PetSafe's ScoopFree Automatic Litter Box lets you take a break from scooping—for good. This self-cleaning system rakes through the litter, pushing waste into a covered trap at one end of the tray. Odors and liquid waste are absorbed by the quick-drying crystal litter. And you can rest easy, because your days of endless scooping are over.

Fresh and Clean Every Time

Fresh and Clean Every Time

Every time kitty needs to go, she'll step into a dry, freshly cleaned litter box—the kind cats prefer. The motorized rake sweeps new waste into the covered compartment, waiting 20 minutes after your cat uses the box so she won't be startled. Because it's automatic, the ScoopFree box stays clean for weeks at a time. One tray lasts 20-30 days before needing to be replaced, for single-cat homes.

3 Simple Steps

Load It

1. Load It

Lift the box and slide a disposable litter tray underneath. It only takes a minute!

Leave It

2. Leave It

ScoopFree automatically rakes the waste into a covered trap, so you can relax.

Toss It

3. Toss It

Replace the soiled tray every few weeks with a fresh one.

Fast-Drying Crystals for Odor Control

The blue silica crystals in each disposable tray are five times more effective at odor reduction than clay or clumping litters. Liquids are trapped by the leakproof liner, and the crystals work fast to absorb them on contact. A dry litter box is less prone to bacterial growth—and the smell that comes with it.

I have two cats. Things I liked about this litter box: 1) It was quiet. 2) It counted the number of times my cats entered to do their business. Things I didn't like: 1) The crystals were supposed to absorb the urine for a month for one cat. I thought it would last at least a couple of weeks for my two. It didn't last a week. 2) My cats still tracked the crystals all over the room (although not as much as traditional litter). 3) The tray looks to be coated cardboard (strong cardboard, but still cardboard). It is very wide, which is convenient for the cats because it is a big area to "go", but when it is ready to change, it is big and flat and the lid doesn't seal shut. I hate scooping and scraping the clay litter. This is great. We have had our box for over a month. The trays do NOT last a month. We have one cat who is a regular size. This fits him great. The litter trays last 2 to 3 weeks and he uses it 7 to 10 times a day. When the weather is warmer, it smells more. I can keep this in the back room and change out the trays about every 2 weeks no problem. I considered scooping a little and adding more silica but with the urine i just dont think its an option. I still love this because it is much easier to clean than the regular box with litter and you can buy a 3 tray pack to save a little Money $

First of all, the cord is a tripping hazard and is not long enough. Secondly, there should be a disclaimer on those crystals for how sharp they can be if you step on some barefoot as it tracked pretty far outside the box. I followed the directions for weaning my cats from the normal box and my cats pooped in it but peed on my brand new carpets!!! Also having to double bag the very rectangle box. I bought this more expensive option thinking it would be better? No, the litter is a problem. It definitely tracks and it is obvious when you step on carpet where it has been tracked. Also, It has a different type of odor, but definitely not odorless. I gave it a try and it is not for me or my cats. … more

Honey yes. This right here is a sanity saver. We have 2 cats, and we'd tried so many different brands/types of cat litter to find something that would contain the smell and never could. We absolutely hate cleaning the litter box, but now we barely have to do anything to it. The crystals soak up the urine and the rake takes care of the poop.We ended up buying the reusable tray, so we will have to deal with cleaning a little more, but I'm a-okay with that now.

Hello All, I have two lovely lady cats. I like everyone else just got sick and tired of the litterbox job. So I looked in to the automatic litter box. I started with the PetSafe Simply Automatic Clean Litter Box. Something went wrong with the motor. The cat litter gets in the gears and ruins the plastic gears causing a screaming sound in the gears. The company really needs to fix this problem. I contacted Chewy and they sent me a new one with no problems ( great company by the way). Chewy refunded me my money. Here are other problems that I found with the PetSafe Simply Automatic Clean Litter Box: 1.When the clumps are going up the lift they have to be a certain size otherwise they won’t go up the lift do to the cover. I ended up taking the cover off. 2. The dish is too small for large cats do their business in. 3.Cat litter gets kicked everywhere. But when it worked it did a good job. But I am now stuck with two machines that do not work. Sadly I had to call Chewy again and let them know that the 2nd PetSafe Simply Automatic Clean Litter Box dead again. They refunded me my order again. So I placed an order for the ScoopFree Ultra Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box. My cats and I hated it. First off the smell was just horrible. The ScoopFree Sensitive Crystal Cat Litter Tray Refills never captured the smell of the poop and pee. Plus they are expensive after a while. The machine rakes the crystal sand stuff and the poop into a very small box that is just covered by a lid like thing that the cats have to step over. My cats had a hard time stepping into the box to use because the poop trapper is very wide. Plus sometimes they would step in the poop that wasn’t pushed into the collection box. Also the poop gets stuck in the rake thing. I ended up having to clean that out so that my cats would not track the poop through the house. Plus the litter got tracked throughout my house even with I put down two different types of little rug/matts. This is not cool and not fun to step on. But the smell is the worst. So I sent it back and got a refund from Chewy, again great company. Currently I am using the CatGenie Self-Flushing Cat Box. Yes it is expensive. So far it is worth every dime. The only down side the washable litter is biodegradable Washable Granules are plastic. But I have not had to scoop or clean anything. The setup was easy. I just set the time timer and it washes, cleans, and gets rid of the waste through the washing machine pipe. So far I am in love and very happy with this. I hope this helps you when you are buying an automatic litter box … more

  • Number 1 Litterbox

I have two cats and one of them had a horrible issue of using the floor outside the litter box. ScoopFree Ultra changed all of that for my cat. She has never used anything except that litter box and it makes me so happy. I will buy 2 more of these litter boxes this year as gifts for family members with cats also. Thank you for creating this.

  • BEST BEST EVERRRRR

I have 2 of these, and 2 cats. If I'd known they'd be this awesome-would've purchased long time ago!! My one cat is super messy in litter box, NOT with this box!! no litter surrounding the box. No smell when I walk into the house! I just watch the counter and changed the trays out. SO EASY. Still not sure how long each will last. Cats are getting used to it. LOVE IT!!!

I have 3 cats, they were quick to change litter boxes which im glad about the only down thing i would say is that the poop tends to stick to the rake which makes the smell linger on. I ordered the lavander crystals so hopefully that helps!

  • 30 days in and I LOVE it!

I purchased this litter box a month ago - I have two cats and a small space and a husband with NO tolerance for litter odors. Hubby, the cats and I are all 100% satisfied. Set up is a breeze and so is emptying and replacing the tray. Odors are virtually ZERO because the feces AND urine both scoop away effectively. Also, I love the compact design. It fits into any little nook, but it’s still big enough to accommodate my very large Maine Coon. Both my kitties took to the litter just fine, although I left the regular litter box accesible for about three days because my coon is picky and I had concerns. But he likes it just fine! With two cats, the litter tray lasted 32 days, although people with strictly indoor cats may have to change it a bit sooner. Mine are indoor/outdoor so some of their business is done outside. I would recommend the litter mat to prevent tracking - these crystals don’t track as badly as regular clay litter, but if they do and you step on them they kind of grind like a hard candy or something. I put a litter mat I already had down and have not had any crystals track beyond the mat since, which is more than I can say for clay litter, which seems to find it’s way any and everywhere. Bottom line: Love it, love it, love it and have already recommended it to every cat owner I know. … more
