    This SAVED my life!

By Comdoc on Oct 7, 2018

I have two cats, and got tired of carrying heavy garbage bags of clumped urine and feces all the time...plus...the smell. And carrying 40-lb. bags of litter was not easy for this older gal. This product is incredible...no more scooping, no more smells! Two cats make it necessary for me to change it about every 11 days - if you have one cat, you’ll be able to go much longer, but the extra cost is worth it to my back and sanity! … more

I was hoping... but this is a bust

By EllieS on Sep 3, 2018

Luckily I have a cat that easily transitions from litter box to litter box when I try something new every few years. She does not like this one however. She is a very young 15 year old cat and about 12 lbs. She urinates at the edge of this 2 out of 5 times and it drips down the outside onto my floor Luckily I have a cat that easily transitions from litter box to litter box when I try something new every few years. It's like she's too big for it. It scoops the poop fine, but the urine just stays where it's laid. I use a spoon to scoop it into the retainer, and then mix up the remaining crystals as they suggest. I have not been able to make it more than 2 weeks. I just threw away the other after 1 week, so I highly disagree with their tray-changing timeline. I wanted to like this because the idea of just putting the lid on and throwing it all away is a great one. But this is a bust for me. I am going back to the previous one she had. … more

  • Cats & Humans love it!

The cats transitioned very well from clay to the crystals. They even sat and waited for their business to be raked, it peaked their curiosity. We loved it because it controlled the smell and kept it clean for our cats. Thumbs UP!

  • Good Quality Box, Litter Not My Favorite

    By on

I got this for my elderly cat who was struggling to keep herself clean while using the litter box. The box is awesome, the litter is not my favorite. My kitty has a habit of peeing in the exact same spot, which does become a problem with any type of litter unless you stir it up once a day. This litter (the large crystal) in particular does not absorb as well as others I have used in the past. That said, I was able to put in a different type of crystal litter with finer crystals that I have found to work and the litter box self-scoops just fine.

  • Good investment

    By on

Honestly best investment I've made in a while. I'm an extravagantly lazy person (probably why I have a cat over a dog) and I hated cleaning the litter box every day. I found it hard to believe that this litter box would actually clean itself for a month,I figured it would break or be noisy or malfunction, but its freaking awesome. I dont even notice it when its cleaning.

  • Works for me!!!

I read several reviews that said you could not use with a kitten but my almost 5 month old has been using now for several weeks. In fact, after surgery a couple of weeks ago the vet requested that we use a special paper litter for a week or so until he was healed up. So, I bought a large bag, because that was the only size available, and placed it in the standard litter box and blocked off the scoop free box. The next morning he was sitting in front of the scoop free box meowing for me to remove the towel so he could go in use the litter box. We just changed the litter tray for the first time last week. LOL BTW, it should be logical but I didn't see it in print, so when we put the lid on used tray, we then placed it in a trash bag. Do not just drop the tray in the dumpster or trash can. I bet someone has. Now, I do have an issue with the tracking of the pellets because when you step on them, they crunch and turn into smaller particles on the floor. This is now the only litter box he is using and it has been placed under a table with a small rug in front of it, which I am hoping will minimize the tracking. Other than that, I love it. My husband thought the replacement pellets were a bit expensive. I reminded him of our arrangement regarding the litter box when we got Elvis and suggested if we wanted to pick the litter then he could to take care of the litter box completely. He decided that I had found a good price on Chewy. … more

  • One month since purchase

    By on

I bought this about a month ago and waited to review for awhile. Transitioning from traditional litter was about a week long process. I followed the recommendation to place the new box beside the old box since Rajani did not approve initially. After a couple days she would use the new one to urinate in and the old one for bowel movements. I took the old box away a week later and she moved to using the new one just fine. I didn't put the hood on the box until a day or two before I took the old box away. She's 10.5lb cat so I was a little concerned about how well she'd fit in the box. Initially she did pee on the side of the box but she has since stopped after I put the hood on the box. She fits I bought this about a month ago and waited to review for awhile. She's now obsessed with the rake and will fly across the room to watch it when it kicks on, I joke with my significant other that it's an added bonus to watch her go obsess over the rake. I'm happy with this purchase. I will be switching from the disposable trays to the hard plastic tray soon so I'm hoping the plastic tray works as well as the disposable one does. … more

Works better than I thought it would. Have two cats using it. A lot lease litter outside of the box than a the standard litter box I was using. If you have wood floors be carful if dragging the crystles on the floor because they will scratch it. There is also way lease smell.
