Scoop Free litter box - best investment!!!!

By KarinR on Jun 10, 2018

I needed to find an easier way to clean a litter box since my household just downsized and I'm away a good amount of the week. I bought two boxes and refills. It's a lot at once but definitely worth the initial expense. Since using it, there's hardly any mess vs. conventional litter. It's self cleaning for sure - every 20 minutes and the raking is very quiet. The replacements are quick and easy to do and there's barely any odor. I have two boxes/four cats and I end up replacing the refills every 6-7 days. There's no need for extra litter for during the week. There's no waste and plenty of litter. As far as clean-up, my daily cleaning went from 15 minutes to 10 seconds. It's well worth the investment. I honestly wish I had done this a long time ago! Thank you for finding a way to make my daily clean-up and hassle so much easier! … more

Not as Great as it Sounds

I have two cats. Things I liked about this litter box: 1) It was quiet. 2) It counted the number of times my cats entered to do their business. Things I didn't like: 1) The crystals were supposed to absorb the urine for a month for one cat. I thought it would last at least a couple of weeks for my two I have two cats. It didn't last a week. 2) My cats still tracked the crystals all over the room (although not as much as traditional litter). 3) The tray looks to be coated cardboard (strong cardboard, but still cardboard). It is very wide, which is convenient for the cats because it is a big area to "go", but when it is ready to change, it is big and flat and the lid doesn't seal shut. I put the lid on and laid it flat in a garbage bag. When I picked it up to take it to the garbage can, the crystals spilled out some, and the box was almost too big to put in the garbage can to put out for collection. … more

  • A real life saver

I was so worried I would buy this product and it would be a waste of money. This product works great and Ive had no problem with it and my 3 cats all started using it pretty fast. It is such a relief to set it and forget it until it's time to throw the bottom away. I highly recommend this.

I’ve had several auto clean litter boxes. I really like this one. Also highly recommend the crystal litter. Way better Oder contralto.

  • Great Litter Box

I did a lot of research on self-cleaning litter boxes and this one had the best reviews. I was hesitant about the crystals but they really do work! I have 1 cat and each tray lasts approximately 20-30 days. I recommend stirring the crystals once a week and removing the waste under the flap every few days. The motor is really quiet and doesn't scare my cat. He has been having urinary problems and this litter box tracks the number of times he's used the box - which is great for monitoring his litter box use. I recommend this product!

  • Priceless!

So far, so good, two weeks into new litter box. No litter box smell. At first they were curious, but adapted within a day. I was hesitant to spend that much on a litter box, but it's worth it.

  • does not last the month it advertises and smells

The crystals last MAYBE 2 weeks with only 1 cat. The disposables trays are your best options for keeping the smell in but those get expensive really fast. Otherwise your still cleaning out the tray every few days. I love that i don't have to worry about my cat over a long weekend or something, but not worth the horrible smell when I have to go to clean it. Expensive machine and upkeep. However, other than that my cat was fine with it and it had no issues so it worked just fine.

  • Convenient

I hate scooping and scraping the clay litter. This is great. We have had our box for over a month. The trays do NOT last a month. We have one cat who is a regular size. This fits him great. The litter trays last 2 to 3 weeks and he uses it 7 to 10 times a day. When the weather is warmer, it smells more. I can keep this in the back room and change out the trays about every 2 weeks no problem. I considered scooping a little and adding more silica but with the urine i just dont think its an option. I still love this because it is much easier to clean than the regular box with litter and you can buy a 3 tray pack to save a little Money $
