This box is so WORTH IT!!! I was trying to decide whether to purchase this box again because it is expensive versus the simple $9.00-$15.00 scratch boxes. My stupid mistake the other day as I decide to purchase the less expensive and my 2 lovebugs turned their nose and walk away. Every time I purchased this box they both run for it at the same time so I decided to purchase 2. Placed by the window so they can see squirrels, ducks, etc. and they do not leave this box for hours plus they sleep in in. Forget their soft beds, they want this one. Emma sleeps in the box all day. I moved it next to the patio door when I put my Christmas tree up. She loves it by the window. It's totally sturdy and has lasted over a year. She doesn't really use it to scratch on as she uses her scratching post. But, she sits in this box more than any of the expensive plush beds I've bought her. By far, this is her favorite anything!

I hate to spend so much money on cardboard, but it really is worth the money! We've had a number of these over the years as well as other brands, and the cardboard this brand uses is extra robust and lasts longer than the cheaper alternatives. It's also reversible, so you're essentially getting 2 scratchers instead of 1 (so long as you don't have a very pukey cat... You may loose a bit there). When you add in that it's also made in America, it's really a no-brainer. Our 14 pound cat fits in it just fine, and she rolls all around in it and takes lots of naps in it in the sun. I bought one of these for my finicky cat a year or more ago and she LOVES it! So, when it needed to be replaced, I bought 2, one for her usual spot and one for the lanai. She took to both immediately. I have to say that, although the instructions say to remove the end flaps, I don't remove them. She lays her head on them when she naps.

I'm not totally sure my cat is of the feline family. He doesn't like boxes or catnip. But within one minute of unboxing this, he was in it and scratching like crazy! It's still his favorite go-to spot. He lies down in it, even when he doesn't feel the need to scratch! I hesitated at paying this much for cardboard, but it was money well spent!

I was skeptical to spend so much money on a box. But after I got tired of vacuuming up cardboard from the other scratchers I purchased, I figured what the heck. Cats love boxes. They love scratching. A box and a scratcher? Heaven. I’ve got four cats that line up like planes at LaGuardia - waiting for their turn to sit, scratch or sleep in it. The kittens were tearing up my carpet. So yeah, expensive for a box, but better than getting new carpet.

Luna loves her new Scratch Lounge! She likes to lay and sit in it and she scratches regularly. This is worth the investment so far. She’s not really a bad kitty - that’s her nickname.

Both my cats instantly took to these but Momo...oh, man. I have been replaced. I was once his favorite spot to lay. If you enjoy your cats cuddles, buyer beware.

Our cats love these and I have purchased many. I really appreciate that the one can buy the replacement inserts and they last a long time. Just wish they were not so expensive.

Our cat loves this scratcher. First thing, she laid on it for around twenty minutes. Then of course, she tried it out. We have bought this one before and it lasts a really long time. When one side gets used up, you can turn it over and a new scratcher awaits. This is the only type I will buy. We've tried other types of cardboard scratchers and she doesn't care for them. She is a finicky kitty.
