I have a a blind Comet and have tried everything it get food in it. Finally, I found this...I drop some soaked with Garlic Guard by it’s mouth and it really helps. My other one likes it too, Needless to say, I waste a lot of food and have to do water changes all the time. Great smell and really works. Great for emergencies with a sick fish.

    Great Stuff

I remember how difficult it was to get to have your fish eat when it’s new to the tank, finicky eaters and just scared to move from their hiding spot. Add this to their food and your problem solved. The above issues no longer happen they all eat every time. My fish are poor eaters with out this Garlic Guard. Every aquarists should have a bottle.

I had a Ranchu get caught in a decorative trunk in her tank. She descaled her entire dorsal back. I used this daily, with frequent water changes and her skin healed super quick and her scales came back the same color..!!

I bought this for my new betta fish because he wasn't eating and had almost been two weeks and I was getting concerned thought this would help him eat but it did not but finally found some food that he likes and he's finally eating so all is good but I will definitely use this a little bit on my other fish.

    Great Treat for Fish!

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Garlic has been proven to have great anti parasitic qualities. Coupled with an enticing taste, fish seem to benefit all around with Seachem's Garlic Guard. Garlic Guard is pure garlic extract, and it smells great to boot! All my fish love it, even the newcomers! I feed this to my betta weekly, by soaking frozen/thawed bloodworms in it. It's a special treat they get before and after their fasting day, and they're always begging for more! My 55 gallon community gets the leftovers from what's at the bottom of the bloodworm container, and they go into a frenzy over it. It's like chumming the water for sharks. You can, of course, squeeze your own garlic cloves, and soak your fish's food in that Garlic has been proven to have great anti parasitic qualities.
