  • Quad-layer technology features four layers of foam for a paw-sitively unmatched sleeping experience.
  • Memory foam cradles all the key pressure points, while cooling energy gel helps keep him cool as he snoozes.
  • Orthopedic foam supports his joints and bones–ideal for the pup with arthritis or joint issues –while the low bolsters provide easy access and additional support for his back and neck.
  • The firm high-density foam base is infused with charcoal to absorb odors and keep his bed smelling fresh; the machine-washable cover zips off for simple care and maintenance.

How thick is center of mattress where dog lays, not edge where there is extra padding for pillow
Answer by ChewyMar 19, 2018
Excluding the bolsters, the mattress for the small is 3 inches thick, medium is 4.25 inches thick, large is 5 inches thick, and the x-large is 5.25 inches thick.

Please measure your dog in their sleeping position and reference the size chart to ensure the most suitable size.

How much give is in the bed when the dog gets in. I have an 80lb dog with bone spurs on his front legs. The orthopedic beds I have tried seem to have to much give for him and seem to bother his front legs.
Answer by ChewyDec 14, 2019
This orthopedic dog bed has quad-layer technology that incorporates four layers of foam that includes a combination of memory foam and cooling energy gel to cradle all the key pressure points and keep him cool. Orthopedic foam supports his joints and bones for deep, restful sleep, and a high-density foam base eliminates any pressure from the hard floor below.

My Yorkie is about 19 inches long would he fit the small bed?
Answer by ChewyMar 28, 2019
We recommend measuring your pet to find the perfect bed size. Pets who curl up to sleep can fit on a smaller bed, while pets who stretch out need a larger bed. To determine the ideal bed length, measure your pet in his or her normal sleeping position, then add 4-6 inches for cats and small dogs, or 8-12 inches for medium to large dogs. When in doubt, we suggest ordering the bigger size.

FAVORITE litter

The best litter I have ever purchased. Odor control is good. Cats don’t track it as much as other litter. All around great. The only kind I use

GREAT bed!

I love this new bed, but not as much as my dog does. Solid orthopedic foam mattress, soft bolsters to rest his head and plenty of room to stretch out! Both of my labs weigh about 80 lbs for size reference.

VERY NICE STURDY BED

I bought this Lux Premium Orthopedic Bolster Bed because my senior dog was no longer able to get on and off our couch-which he claimed as his many years ago. He had arthritis and it had gotten pretty bad the last month or so and he refused to use the ramp or the stair we got him. The bed was SUPERB! The support it offered was top notch, my dog had no problem getting on and off and he fell in love with it right away. He was a 70lb dog and I bought the XL which I think was perfect as he had extra room. We had measured our dog when he was sleeping before we decided on a size and he measured 36" asleep lol. Unfortunately, he only got to enjoy the bad for about 36 hours as his time was so much closer than we had imagined. I wish I would have bought this years before. I did put his favorite blanket down over the bed because I did not want his nails to put a hole in it getting on and off. Definitely worth the money!

Nice but deflated

It came and it seems very nice and high quality but after two weeks it’s still deflated. Chewy was kind in saying they’d send a new one but returning this one is a hassle since it’s so large and heavy. It’s a shame because it seems very nice!

105lb puppy approved

Charley is a big boy and I had read that with Great Danes it's a good idea to get them sleeping on memory foam early to help avoid joint issues later on. To say I spent my time doing research is an understatement. If i was going to spend 150 bucks on something- it better be good. While as of this review I have only had the bed for about an hour I wanted to share a few things. 1) Charley couldn't even wait the 2 hours it needs to inflate after shipping to try it out. He is already sleeping on it, which makes me feel hopeful! 2) The quality seems in line with something that has a larger price tag. The material used for the cover appears durable and the removable cover to protect against accidents is appreciated. And 3) Even now, before the mattress has had a chance to fully bounce back-the weight of Charley (105lbs) is not sinking in at any point. His body is fully supported. I will update my review of anything changes-but so far I am impressed.

Good quality

Should give a 5 star, as my dog hasn’t shown any interest in it yet but not the fault of the manufacturer. She has beds and can’t understand the lack of interest but overall a very nice bed.

She's in love

My little jack Russell chihuahua took to this bed right away. I wanted to make sure she had support and it is perfect! She is about 14 lb. Im going to buy another one for the living room too

Great bed that is well worth the price.

The cover fits nicely. The bolsters are firm. The larger size is great for dogs that like to stretch out. Only takes a minute to unpack and set up. Our dog took to the new bed within a day. We hunt Royal and he works hard. He deserves a comfortable bed that supports his body after a day in the field.

Impossible to clean, NO COOLING effect

Cooling - We bought this bed mainly for the cooling aspect, and it turns out the cooling effect is nonexistent. Our dog still chooses the floor because, on the bed, she gets too hot. Fabric - The material is pilly and wrinkly. The fur sticks to it and doesn’t go away either with a vacuum or a lint roller. It looks really disgusting. Shape - The bolster is cheaply made and doesn't keep its shape.

My old lady loves this bed!

I have a hard time getting my older, arthritic dog, Sadie, to sleep anywhere other than right beside my bed on the hardwood floor. I have put some beds there, but it is not a convenient place for a large dog bed to be all the time. I ordered the Sealy Orthopedic Bolster dog bed, and put it in another area of the bedroom and my Sadie loves it! While she still comes to the bedside on occasion, she spends most nights sprawled out on the large Sealy Lux bed. I can only imagine this must feel great for her hips. My dog is a 45 pound Border Collie mix. I got her the Large bed, which she loves, but it does take up quite a bit of room and she could have been comfortable on the Medium. I highly recommend this bed for any dogs who need a little more comfort for their joints.
