  • Doesn't work

    By on

I bought this in the hopes of making it easier to provide flea treatment to my dogs. My older one has no issue with getting the topical application. The other fights it horribly. I figured problem solved with these pills. While they both took them with ease, THEY DON'T WORK. I had to go back to the fight to get the topical application on.

  • Great Product, Amazing Price

I got this product because I recently adopted a Siberian Husky puppy which was covered in fleas. I used this in combination with a topical treatment a couple days later. I noticed that, within an hour, I was seeing dead fleas around his muzzle. This was very effective and I would highly recommend it. Please note, however, this will not replace a monthly flea preventative, as this only lasts 24 hours and will only kill adult fleas. I used this in combination with BioSpot Active topical treatment, as it was the most cost-effective was to kill all life stages of fleas. The combination of the two got rid of the flea infestation with ease. Also, your pup may still scratch after using this. It does not mean he/she still has fleas but rather still has the skin irritation associated with them. A nice warm bath with an oatmeal-based shampoo will do wonders. … more

  • Administered 6 Days and Over-All Ineffective :(

We thought since the product is alleged to have the same ingredients and efficacy as Capstar we would give it a try! After administering 6 complete doses our dog still has us hunting live fleas on him. Poor guy. Totally disappointing and won't be purchasing again. We bombed, used DE and did 2 flea baths. We've used white vinegar, apple cider vinegar and vacuumed the living daylights out of our rugs and furniture. We washed all bedding and did the dawn dishwashing treatment and flea combed. We've even treated our yard and all. We wouldn't call this outbreak but mild in the scheme of fleas. We found not one single dead flea on our dog, despite bites. When we last used Capstar, we had 3 dogs and a cat! Each got a single dose, one tablet and within hours of admin problem solved. All dead as a doornail! Now we have One (1) dog and have used the entire box to absolutely no avail. Between waiting for the arrival it's now a week later. Sadly, we find it a Complete and utter waste of money. We will resort back to Capstar and move forward! This has been frustrating and fleas are miserable little buggers! Between Irma and all, we haven't had much peace or fun yet! We suspect the weather system upset the area wildlife, feral cats and the environ, as we haven't had an outbreak in years. Sorry this product was recommended by Chewy! … more

  • Worked but Needed Two

    By on

These pills worked but for my 55 pound bulldog we needed to give him two. We gave him one and in the next couple days his fleas improved drastically but we still needed to give him a second dose. After the second dose the fleas were gone on him and they are improving in our home as well

  • Capguard oral flea tablets worked great for my dogs

    By on

I decided to try these after the spot on didn't work for my new large breed puppy. Malachi was flea free by the next day,as were my older two dogs who were due for another dose of spot on. It wasn't till I ordered these that my daughter reminded me we had to use pills for my rottweiler yrs ago. My vet said Oscar's skin was too dry for spot on flea medicines to be effective. Guess my Cane Corso doesn't have enough natural oil to spread the spot on either. So thankful to have found this product!

  • Most effective method for a reasonable price

    By on

I spent over $100 in flea remedies and of all the different products and tricks this was the most effective in my opinion, coupled with a safe spray for the eggs this will help fight any infestation effectively and it's a good price too!

Rescued a year old dog from the pound 12 days ago. Haven't visually seen fleas, but gave to him just in case because he was scratching/itching a lot. Can't give an honest review because I'm unsure if product was effective due to not actually seeing fleas and he's had several baths in conjunction with the pills. He had one pill the first week and his second pill this week. I can say that he didn't throw up like with the Frontline brand I've used in the past, which is why I rated this product with 4 stars. I'm sure they're a different type of pill. For the price, doesn't hurt for a trial run!

  • Did not work

    By on

I should have bought the drops instead. My dogs would not even eat it with a piece of cheese or even peanut butter. Next time I will be buying drops. I I thought the pills really work and they would just chew them up. I would not advise anybody to buy them

  • Will never use

This product does not work. I will never reorder. Just like a few other pills from the same manufacturer. Don't waste your money like I did.
