Additional Tips

  • Read the label completely: As with medications for humans, carefully read and follow all label instructions thoroughly before purchase and application.
  • Weigh your pet: Don’t guess! Be sure to weigh your pet to ensure that your animal’s weight matches the dosage listed on the product package.
  • Only apply product intended for your pet’s species: Never use a flea and tick treatment and prevention product intended for dogs on a cat and vice versa.
  • Avoid double dosing: Our squeeze-on products are designed to work alone and NOT in combination with other flea and tick control products. Check the product label of the flea and tick treatment used prior to ensure the recommended time has passed since the last application of any product before applying a new product.
  • Separate multiple pets: Separating pets ensures that the flea and tick treatment doesn’t rub off or pets lick the product off each other. As with any flea and tick treatment and prevention squeeze-on, even the smallest amount of product that gets into a dog’s or cat’s mouth can cause drooling or foaming — and in rare cases can result in death.
  • Do NOT divide tube doses between multiple animals: For example, do not use half a dose made for a 40-lb. dog on a 20-lb. dog. Also, do not combine two tubes of a lower weight break for a larger dog. Always use the full tube on the pet per the product’s application guidelines.

    Did not work for long

    By on

I have used just about every flea and tick treatment in the past 3 years and I must say I'm not impressed! I was a groomer for 22 years, have helped customers deal with and eliminate flea infestations in their homes. But, now I am the one with the infestation and I can't seem to kill them! After using a pill that kills for 24hrs, then a spot treatment the next day, plus the usual cleaning of all surfaces including baseboards and such, one week later all 4 of my pets have fleas again! Why are the fleas immune to the treatments? Is there a guaranteed product out there that refunds money if it doesn't work?

Does not work for ticks on all three of my dogs

    By on

Lately I've been buying cheaper versions (prices around the same as this item) of flea and tick meds because they seem to have been keeping the fleas and ticks off my dogs who already have Lymes. I want to make sure they are protected because if not than flare up issues are likely to occur. I bought this thinking it would work like the others have. I was wrong. They have had the med on them for a week and I honestly feel like we have been pulling MORE ticks off of them than when not on this. I would NEVER buy this again, it makes me feel like they fill the tubes up with water or something!

    It worked for me!

    By on

I put this on my 4 dogs who are inside most of the time. It worked just fine. I put it on Friday in the afternoon and by the next day the fleas were down 2/3 rds. They slept away with no scratching. Now it's Wed afternoon and I find only a couple fleas with the flea comb from all. And I didn't spray the house yet so I'd say it works pretty good for the money..I used the natural stuff last time and it took a very long time for the fleas to go away..and There was no bad reactions from or on the animals..

Great protection at a great price

    By on Top 500 Contributor

We've always used flea collars of varying types for all of our animals. Jake's dermatitis prevents him from wearing anything around his neck. So many flea treatments are so expensive and I was glad when I found this on Chewy. All the reviews said it worked great, so I gave it a try. We haven't had any bug issues so I guess it's working. The price is so much cheaper (for the same basic ingredients) than most of the other flea treatments available. Thank you Chewy.

    FLEA TICK BE GONE

    By on

This is okay but sadly it seems since chewy has become a hit nationwide some products that were actually reasonably priced like Soresto collars one can no longer afford and might as well shop around...

    Did not work at all

    By on

This did nothing for all 3 of the dogs. Now I am faced with an infestation. I was hoping this less expensive alternative would work. I do not recommend.

    Great product for the price

This is my second summer of fiproguard on 3 dogs and this summer we're using it on 3 cats as well. We live in the country and so far we have had zero issues with fleas or ticks!

    Seems to work well

    By on

We live in an area with lots of trees and tall grass. Although the vials seem to have very little in them, they work! We find some ticks on the dogs but they are usually dead
