Key Benefits
  • Contains Fipronil, same active ingredient as Top Spot
  • Kills Fleas, ticks, eggs, larva, and chewing lice
  • Protects against chewing lice
  • Can be used on puppies 8 weeks and older
  • Effective, affordable way to protect your dog
Precautions

HAZARDS TO CATS: Keep cats away from treated dogs for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian immediately. Do not allow children to apply product. To prevent harm to you and your dog, read entire label before each use. Follow all directions and precautionary statements carefully.

Important Information

Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Additional Tips

  • Read the label completely: As with medications for humans, carefully read and follow all label instructions thoroughly before purchase and application.
  • Weigh your pet: Don’t guess! Be sure to weigh your pet to ensure that your animal’s weight matches the dosage listed on the product package.
  • Only apply product intended for your pet’s species: Never use a flea and tick treatment and prevention product intended for dogs on a cat and vice versa.
  • Avoid double dosing: Our squeeze-on products are designed to work alone and NOT in combination with other flea and tick control products. Check the product label of the flea and tick treatment used prior to ensure the recommended time has passed since the last application of any product before applying a new product.
  • Separate multiple pets: Separating pets ensures that the flea and tick treatment doesn’t rub off or pets lick the product off each other. As with any flea and tick treatment and prevention squeeze-on, even the smallest amount of product that gets into a dog’s or cat’s mouth can cause drooling or foaming — and in rare cases can result in death.
  • Do NOT divide tube doses between multiple animals: For example, do not use half a dose made for a 40-lb. dog on a 20-lb. dog. Also, do not combine two tubes of a lower weight break for a larger dog. Always use the full tube on the pet per the product’s application guidelines.

Great value flea and tick protection

    By on

This product has worked very well all summer for my Australian Shepherd and my Irish Setter. Before application at the start of tick season we found several ticks on both dogs, since applying Sentry Fiproguard as directed we have not had any issues with ticks on either dog all summer! A great value, I will definitely buy again.

    Doesnt work

    By on

I would apply this after their flea bath (once properly dry). Doesn't seem to work at all I even tried applying another application twice in one month and still my dogs would scratch through the night. They also seem to not like it doesn't seem to be causing burns or rash but they try to rub it off every time applied. this is also after making sure that for bath day we vacuum, wash the sheets, and spray the carpets with flea spray, so its not repelling them from hopping on when they're outside in the yard or walks.

I've been using monthly Sentry Fiproguard on both my cats and dog. It works just as well as more expensive brands.

May As Well Have Used Nothing

    By on

This may be the fleas in our region or our dog’s body chemistry or what have you, but this medication did literally nothing. There was no reaction whatsoever from the fleas on our dog.
