Description

This proven pheromone technology is perfect for calming dogs in a specific area of the home during stressful situations such as thunderstorms, fireworks, visitors in the home and even nervousness when left alone. The pheromone in the diffuser mimics that produced by mother dogs to calm their young to reduce stress-related behaviors. This diffuser releases pheromones for 30 days and can be used without any long-term side effects. Pheromones released cover an area up to 215 square feet.

  • Reduces stress-related behaviors such as inappropriate marking, chewing, jumping, and excessive barking

I noticed when it ran out

By chelle on Feb 27, 2021

I wasn’t sure if this was working, but then when my dog was getting really antsy and wouldn’t settle down easily, I realized that the diffuser had been empty for several days. Additionally, his vet recommended it, and I truly feel there is a benefit for him. Even if it doesn’t help him - the small fragrance that it gives off is pleasant enough for me to keep it on autoship!

Seems to work well in confined spaces

By Gail on Jul 11, 2020

I plug this in when we're camping in our RV. Both dogs sleep soundly through the night, without needing to go outside to the bathroom. They get me up at home and that's bad enough, but making noise during the night in a campground would be bad for everyone. I was happy that I could save a few bucks and get the refill, rather than replace the whole unit--which lasts a long time, by the way.

    Helped my dog Stop Marking

By msalter on Nov 7, 2016

I was having issues with my dog marking, even with a pet door, even with walks every evening, he still marked two places in the home. I tried this as a last ditch effort after all the expensive cleaning products and things to "prevent repeat marking" and this has totally worked. He has not marked since I plugged this in. I was coming from a total skeptic point of view and didn't think this would matter but it worked! Also as a plus, he has stopped barking so much at all the passers by in the front yard. Although that didn't really bother me, I want him to alert if me if someone is outside.

It seems to be working but I need to buy more to cover a larger area.

    By robbinsnest123 on Mar 4, 2016

This product appears to be working, to a degree or at least taking off the edge of anxiety for my pet who has sever anxieties. It covers such a small area and I need to buy another defuser to cover a large living room.

Seems to work for one dog but not the other

By AlexMom on Jan 23, 2016

We have a problem between two of our dogs. Both are dominant males and one has redirected fear aggression. When he gets scared, he snaps at the other who then attacks him. At our latest visit to the vet, the vet suggested trying a calming diffuser in the area(s) of the house where it happens most often. I did that, and put them in a few other areas too. The one with fear aggression seems to migrate to the areas where the diffusers are, so he seems to feel good around them. I'm not sure they affect the other one. I did have to remove the one I'd put in my bedroom because the lavender scent bothered my allergies, but overall I've been satisfied with them.

    Just Okay...

    By Rustymonkey01 on Jul 11, 2014

Our vet recommended this product because our puppy seems to have separation anxiety and doesn't like her crate. We have used it for a month now and we don't see that much of a difference. We have a Cavalier King Charles & they are known for their anxiety issues. I think it's worth a shot if it's a mild separation anxiety or other anxieties/fears.
