If you read the ingredient list there are no "Enzymes" in this paste so it is not an "Enzymatic" toothpaste. Fact. However, I don't see any nasty ingredients like micro titanium dioxide of carcinogenic preservatives so I think this is a very decent, slightly abrasive paste with a good flavor to use for brushing. I think it is made by a good company.
My dog was 7 years old when she came to me. Her teeth look good for her age, but I wanted to get her used to a finger brush and the special toothpaste. She’s tolerating it fairly well, which I hope to improve upon.
This toothpaste works great. My dogs like the poultry flavor better than actually the brushing. Lol I like the big tube 6.2 oz. It lasts for a long time and I have 3 dogs. I use a good blob for one side of mouth/front then rinse brush and put a new blob for other side and front.
This is an excellent toothpaste and well worth trying. I bought some greenies thinking they would help get rid of the tartar on my dogs teeth, but Ziggy my dog ate them up in a min or so no good, but this toothpaste after only trying for a few days have done the job. It had good reviews and is well worth trying, also it is less expensive than greenies.
I recently ordered six tubes of poultry flavored toothpaste from Chewy. I've been brushing my 11 year old lab's teeth since she was a year old. I recently went downstairs to get something after we went upstairs for the night. I found her waiting for me at the top of the stairs waiting to get her teeth brushed. I'm convinced she considers it yet another snack. Ordering the toothpaste from Chewy was easy and the delivery was at my front door within two days. Great job Chewy. Hint, if you find your deliveries anywhere but your front door you can note "please deliver to front door" when ordering from Chewy. It has been working well for us.
I have mixed feeling about this tooth paste. Raya likes it a lot. She tries to eat the finger brush off my hand when I use it with the tooth paste. I have better luck brushing her teeth and massaging her gums without it, but the vet says to use toothpaste.
My dog loves this toothpaste the taste and it works good on her teeth
My dog loves this toothpaste, he hasn't liked any toothpaste we have purchased in the past. We will continue to buy
My dog really likes the taste and is willing to let me brush his teeth with it.
My doggie likes the flavor and allows me to clean his teeth, so that is a good thing.
