Is this safe for the cats to lick off their fur
Answer by • May 14, 2020
The drying time for Sentry Pro Flea & Tick Spray for Dogs & Cats is about 5 to 6 minutes. It would be ideal for you to prevent your dog/cat from grooming during this time frame. If your dog/cat does lick some of the wet spray, you may see some drooling or foaming at the mouth. This is from the taste of the product and should go away once the dog/cat eats or drinks something. After the spray has dried, there should be no concerns with the dog/cat licking his fur.
Holding this 8-10 inches while spraying to get the animal wet seems pretty difficult not to inhale or get in animal's eyes. Can I get some clarification here? And what if they lick their fur?
Answer by • Jan 30, 2019
The face should be avoided when spraying this on your pet and should either air dry or be blow dried before the dog or cat can lick their fur.
Does the spray go on before or after a bath? Do I spray the animal skin while dry?
Answer by • Oct 17, 2018
Shake well before use. To kill fleas and ticks, spray at a distance of 8 to 12 inches. Spray over entire haircoat making sure the coat is thoroughly wetted to the skin. As you spray, fluff the hair so the spray will penetrate to the skin. Make sure spray wets ticks thoroughly. Spray against the lay of the hair, roughing the hair on long-haired dogs or cats. Do not spray into the eyes, face or genitalia. When applied at the label dose rate, the dog or cat should not be retreated more frequently than once every 14 days. Lighter applications will reduce period of effectiveness, may result in earlier reinfestation and may require more frequent retreatment. Allow dog or cat to air dry or blow dry. Do not towel dry. This product is formulated to leave the hair coat soft and manageable for grooming.
Where on earth are the ingredients listed? Of course I would want to know what I am putting on my pet. Very strange there are no instructions or ingredients listed. Maybe an oversight?
