Instructions
  1. Read entire label before each use and use only in accordance with label instructions.
  2. Do not open until ready to use. Take the collar out of the packaging and stretch to full length. The tabs that held the collar in place will fall off when stretching; pull on any remaining tabs to remove them.
  3. Bend the buckle in half between the holes in the buckle, so that you can easily press the end of the collar through both holes. Place the collar around your cat's neck. Feed the collar through both holes, notches facing out. Fit to the neck of the cat. The collar must be worn loosely to allow for growth of the pet and to permit the collar to move about the neck. Generally, a properly fitted collar is one that, when fastened, will snugly slide over a pet's head (you should also be able to slide two fingers between the collar and your pet's neck). Leave 1 or 2 extra inches for collar adjustment, cut off remaining excess collar, and dispose of excess in the trash.
  4. Wash hands after placing collar on pet. Replace collar every 3 months or sooner if needed.

Store this product in a cool, dry area away from children and pets. Do not reuse container or used collar. Dispose of in trash.

  • MINTY FRESH!!

I rather like the collar though my pet took a few days to get used to it. The problem is that the smell is very strong. Fortunately it is a minty odor that is quite pleasant to humans. My cat got used to it after a few days though the dog was put off by it longer, but that is not a problem since he is not wearing it. I shall be putting these on the other cat even though he does not go outside.

  • At least I have no mosquitos in my house.

I bought a couple of these a year ago, hated the smell, but didn’t know if they worked. I swore I’d never buy them again yet somehow have a severe infestation so I needed something. I have 7 cats so cheap is important. The description says powdery scent so I ordered them. Opened up the first package to find no powdery scent just citronella with clove. My house was sprayed, no fleas. I put on the collar and they started jumping ship. Now, in but a couple of hours, my house is full of fleas again. I have 6 left to throw in the trash. These things stink, and don’t work.

  • a lethal sin

The smell on this collar is so overwhelming that no cat that survives wearing it will be able to smell its food or prey...i have placed it in a discreet place in my house and the whole house smells of it....please take this of the market... i was though very impressed with the gentleness of the material it was made of. For thst they get A+...pity they can't cut the smell with 95%

  • Be careful!!!

I decided to purchase this flea collar because it was really cheap and I've tried countless other flea killing and preventing products that either worked but didn't last long enough and the fleas returned or didn't work at all. So after receiving the delivery I didn't immediately put it on my cat because I wanted to give her a bath first, but I never quite got around to bathing her and one night when my cat was biting and scratching so much that I just grabbed the box and put it on her. The first thing I noticed was the strong chemical smell of the collar, when I finished putting it on her I made sure the collar was secure enough so she couldn't easily remove it yet loose enough to grab the inner I decided to purchase this flea collar because it was really cheap and I've tried countless other flea killing and preventing products that either worked but didn't last long enough and the fleas returned or didn't work at all. The first thing I noticed was the strong chemical smell of the collar, when I finished putting it on her I made sure the collar was secure enough so she couldn't easily remove it yet loose enough to grab the inner part of the collar with my finger and twist it around her neck. Honestly I don't know if it prevented or killed any fleas because there wasn't a significant decrease (that I noticed) or change of how often she was biting and scratching after putting the collar on her. So after 2 to 3 weeks of wearing the collar, I decided to spray her with some hydro cortisone spray because she was still biting and scratching constantly.. When I removed the collar she had scabs around her entire neck exactly where the collar had been! I felt so bad because I was only trying to help but ended up making her feel worse.. 8( … more

  • Annoying smell

    By on

so far seems like they're working but the smell makes us not want to be around the cats. We thought the smell would wear off but we're going on 2 weeks and smell is still there. Not as strong as the first day but still there. I dont even know how to describe the smell but it's like floral/citrus scent trying to cover up a chemical smell :/
