Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.
I used this on my Cat Mel. He did not object to being shampooed with it. His fur is soft and clean and thus far we have seen no evidence of ticks or fleas.
I love this so much I used it once and it worked so fast, it was super nice and it smelled amazing kinda like baby shampoo, the scent isn’t overpowering and it didn’t dry there hair. It was perfect and it killed and scared away all the flees!!
Used this on my cats and during the rubbing for the 5 min the fleas where dying fast
I was struggling with fleas for three years, nothing worked. Then I tried something to see if it would work and it does and it does not harm your pet. I got some empty pill gel caps from Amazon, filled them with the seeds from jalipenos and other really hot peppers and then got my cat to swallow one with his food. You have to do this twice a day, but the fleas will not feed on them because their skin will excrete the capsacion and it burns the fleas. Try it you will not be sorry, it works for you too if they are biting you.
I love this for my cats. Not a lot of lather and rinses out easily to minimize time washing the cats. Leave fur conditioned, soft and easy to comb out. Leaves pleasant long lasting scent without being over powering.
Not only does it leave me smelling beautiful as ever, but it also leaves my fur feeling nice, fluffy, and soft!
I love the Fragrance and it’s so soft on my cats furs.
Ever since I got my kitten she has bad problems with fleas. My grandmother who lives under me has 3 dogs. I believe the fleas are coming from there. I sprayed my entire house, bombed, etc. Today I bathed Bia again. This time with this product because my boyfriend's mom said it was really effective. Well not really. I washed her 2 times. Timed 5 mins each. She was all nice and foamy. While I waited for the 5 mins I continued to lather her coat more. After I rinsed her I noticed fleas were still latched on to her. I went through with the flea comb. They would not come off. I individually picked all the others off. The scent is great, her fur is soft.. but the fleas.. still there. I'm so freaking disappointed. I just want my baby to feel comfortable, not all itchy, and to have the tapeworms gone forever.. not just a month. I just don't understand. As you can see she is just as disappointed/angry as I am.
One of my cats was an abandoned feral kitten I found crying in my backyard. He had so many fleas and chiggers on him, he was moving around with his own personal cloud. I bought some other flea shampoo first and the poor kitty was still scratching like crazy. When I ran a cloth across his fur, he still had fleas. The pet store recommended this shampoo and it did the trick. It was kind of disgusting, I massaged the shampoo into his fur, left it on for a couple of minutes and then rinsed. Dead fleas were dropping off of him left and right. The shampoo has a pleasant smell and it keeps working for a few weeks after you use it. It kills the flea's eggs as well which is definitely a plus. My cat's coat is nice, soft and shining too. The other shampoo left his coat dry and brittle. I know I probably sound like some kind of commercial but this shampoo it the best. Haven't had a flea problem since we started using it. My cat is happy too!
Smells great. Leave cat fur soft, but doesn’t kill all fleas on a cat or kitten! And the “30 day” no fleas is bs. Just use dawn soap next time !
