Instructions

Remove product tube from the package. Holding tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body, cut off the narrow end at the notches. While holding the animal with one hand, use the other hand to apply the solution. Invert the tube and use the narrow end to part the animal's hair while gently squeezing to apply to the animal's skin starting high on the back of the cat's neck to in front of the shoulder blades. Hold the animal for a few seconds to give the solution time to be absorbed into the animal's coat. When finished, wrap the tube in paper and put into the trash.

  • It is not too bad

    By on

I gave it a 3/5 because of how long it takes to start working. It says it’s supposed to be 24-48 hours, but it took more like 2 weeks. We had a really bad flea problem and we have 3 cats. One is mine. The owner of the other 2 won’t buy flea medicine for her cats. But I didn’t want them on my cat. I usually use frontline but it is a bit pricy so I decided to try Sentry. The first thing I noticed is that my cat always licks the flea medicine. I always hold him until it’s dry, but he usually winds up getting some in his mouth. With frontline it makes him pretty ill. He foams at the mouth and vomits. But with Sentry I noticed that he will gag, but if I make him drink he’s fine afterwards. I gave it a 3/5 because of how long it takes to start working. I also noticed that Frontline usually wears off at the 3 week mark, and we have a boom of fleas for a week until it’s time for another application. With Sentry, we haven’t had that issue. Once it starts working, it continues to work and we haven’t had a boom of fleas between applications. It has even worked to rid my house of fleas and I have noticed that the non treated cats don’t have any fleas anymore either. So treating just my cat has rid my house of fleas and all of the cats. At first I was worried it wouldn’t work because it did take so long, but overall I’m pretty impressed with how it has worked. I’m just a little sad it took so long to start working. … more

I was really disappointed in this product! Especially for the price, not cheap! I have four indoor cats and I still see fleas on all of them! Two scratch all the time! Will be looking for something new real soon! Never buy this one again!

  • Doesn't work

    By on

Doesn't deserve 1 star. Not only did both my cats have reactions after applying this, but 3 days later they are still infested with fleas. I've never had a problem with flea meds before and I've used many different ones. This was a first and will be the last with this product. The rest goes into the trash.

  • Fleas & Ticks!

    By on

I've tried the expensive one from the veterinarian and I don't think it works any better than this one that I have used for years. I live in a rural area where ticks seems prolific and many carry the dreaded Limes Disease. I need to protect my fur babies and this product helps me do that.

  • Very satisfied so far

    By on

I decided to give this economical flea and tick treatment a try, and so far I'm very happy. In the past, my cat would sleep under a neighbor's deck in the sand, and came back and infested my house with fleas. I vowed to never let that happen again! I've used this product since March 2017, and haven't seen any evidence of fleas or ticks. My cat spends most of her time outside, so she would certainly be exposed to both. I'll continue to purchase this product. I also noticed that my cat doesn't resist the application - with other topicals, she would squirm and it was difficult to apply - in reading about it, it could have stung her skin. • Yes it works

    By on

We have all indoor cats that I tried this on. It took several doses before I was able to see the effects. We have never had a problem with any fleas, so wasn’t sure what to use. I am glad we found something that worked.

  • Awesome product and price

    By on

This is an awesome product. It is a little greasy looking after you put it on but after it drys they look normal again. The ticks literally fall off mostly dead. Love the price I want my pets protected but can't afford the expensive stuff.
