This broke in 6 months. I used to use it when my kitten was getting mouthy but it just stopped working! Not a battery issue. Was really disappointed.
Horrible product!! The laser stops working even after changing batteries!
If your cats like lasers this is a wonderful way to get them some play time if you don't have a lot of energy or if you need to do something else. It's almost like putting a toddler in front of a TV if you need to do something you don't want them getting into and you can't shut a door. The different modes are great for the cats different moods. I do recommend making sure you move it to different locations around your house and take advantage of the shape of the toy by rotating it on its sides changing the shape of the laser pattern to keep your cats from getting bored!
The laser on this moves SO slowly that my cat loses interest. The shape is supposed to let you tip it in a variety of ways to let the laser move on different walls and the floor, but it's basically just at a standstill and my cat who plays with everything under the sun couldn't be bothered. He was much more interested in the whirring motor inside the case, so he just knocks that around a little bit. Good concept, but poor execution.
My cat Rascal LOVES this laser toy! It's so easy to use and to change the angles and position of the lasers is a simple turn or two of the toy. Watching the laser point on the ceiling actually helped Rascal relax after chasing the laser around the room. This was a great investment!
This is the best pet toy EVER!!! Our cat LOVES it. I just know my dog would have also. This is hilarious especially when we add the hand held lasar light too. It keeps our Chunk busy! The only down side to it for us, is that we have to set it on it's side so the light hits the ground more.
My 2 cats love it. At first, they figured out the source where the light came from and was fixated on that, but it didn't take long for them to refocus on laser itself and I'm liking that I don't have to manually activate it so far, =) hope this lasts as they can get easily bored >_>
My cat loves lasers. This one works, but leaves a little to be desired, hence the 4 stars. The laser itself isn't as bright as others I've used, and the shape of the devise isn't as conducive to varying play as you'd think. You have to find just the right spot, otherwise it's casting over a small piece of the floor or on the ceiling. It's also not as fast as my energetic cat would like, but I've found that to be the case with most automatic lasers. My cat likes to race, so she gets bored with this one pretty quickly--better for me to operate it in still mode.
This serves the intended purpose, and depending on how you place it, the laser can point various places. I wish the range was more widespread and that the speed options were faster. Overall, my cats enjoy it. One is too smart for his own good and knows where the dot comes from, but still chases after it and has fun.
Zoe loves this! She's had it for a couple of months now. It has different settings, patterns. And you can see that by turning it, it gives different heights, too. It has innumerable combinations. And each session lasts 20-30 minutes before having to turn it back on. She loooves hunting and attacking the light! I definitely recommend this for any cat!
