Precautions

HAZARDS TO HUMANS AND ANIMALS: Keep out of reach of children. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Wear protective rubber gloves when applying this product. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after each use and before eating, drinking, chewing gum or using tobacco. DO NOT APPLY TO PETS LESS THAN 12 WEEKS OLD. Consult a veterinarian before using this product on medicated, debilitated, aged, pregnant, or nursing animals. Sensitivities may occur after using any pesticide product for pets. If signs of sensitivity occur bathe your pet with mild soap and rinse with large amounts of water. If signs continue, consult a veterinarian immediately. Do not apply more than 2 oz per pet application. If in eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15 - 20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice. If on skin or clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15 - 20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

Instructions

Directions for Use:

Read entire label before each use.
Use only on cats.
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Wet cats coat thoroughly.
Shake well before using.
Pour Sergeant's Gold Flea & Tick Shampoo for Cats & Kittens into the cup of your hand.
Starting at the head and working back, work up a lather with this quick lathering formula, being sure that the lather is worked thoroughly into the cat's coat down to the skin.
Allow lather to stand 5 minutes, then rinse completely and towel dry.
It should not be necessary to repeat the shampoo application unless the animal is excessively dirty.
Kills fleas and ticks fast.
Repeat every 30 days.

Storage and Disposal:

Pesticide Storage: Store in original container in a cool, dry place inaccessible to children and pets.
Pesticide Disposal and Container Handling: Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.
If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling, if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.

If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Shampoo flea/tick

My first time ordering from chewy this shampoo for my cat. It works wonderful I have not seen a flea or tick on him especially around this time of year where they're going to be looking more so than ever with the cold weather coming. I would recommend the shampoo I'm going to give it a five star because I haven't seen anything on my cat since I gave him a bath in September.

It Helps and Smells great!!

It does something! I can't say it kills all fleas, but it does have an effect. I saw the fleas running away up towards my cat's face as they tried to get away! It also smells great! I love the smell!! So if you don't have a lot of money, I would start with this!

NOT AS GOOD AS ADVERTISED!

I!ve used VETERINARY FORMULA FLEA&TICK SHAMPOO ( By Synergy Labs), I've used Hartz brand, plus others. Each one I had to repeat bathe my cat. This Seargeant's Gold Flea\ Tick Cat Shampoo shows no different results than a store brand! Nope, I wouldn't recommend this product.

AWESOME PRODUCT!

I've been using Sergeant's Gold for years on all my cats. If used as directed it works fantastically! I've tried Advantage drops, etc & all 3 of my cats suffered lethargy, etc. Never will use those again! Sergeant's also makes their coats so soft & smell sooo good! Will never use anything else!

Didnt work

The shampoo didnt work on my cats. I used it and was combing thru their hair and noticed that the fleas were alive still, they just seemed stunned for a minute after the bath.

Works good

This works really well on the fleas that are crawling around on your cat. However it does not work so well on the fleas that have not yet hatched.

Works Wonderful!

I have been using this shampoo for 2 years now and it really works for my indoor cats. It has replaced the use of flea collars and the regular use of tropical spot treatments... Keep in mind my cats are indoor but I do have feral cats that hangout on the property. I not only found it to work on my cats as a flea treatment but also when sprayed on my carpet and washing the cats bedding. The scent isn't over fragranced and the cats coats are soft and fluffy.

Got the fleas

My kitten had a few fleas and after a week since I bathed her with this, she is still flea free. Until I purchased this, she always had several fleas by the end of the week before her next bath. I recommend this and will definitely purchase again.
