We use these treat sticks for food rewards. It doesn't take very long before Monkey cat learns what to do to earn one. Lately, it was pointing at her shelves and saying the word jump. Purchased Sheba Meaty Tender Sticks in Chicken Flavor Cat Treats for my two cats. Both cats smelled and licked them, then proceeded to walk away from it. I put the treats in their dry food bowls to create some interest. It has been three days and neither cat has chewed or eaten them. We have 3 kitties. One loves them. One likes them and the 3rd is a no. Typical kitties lol. So my suggestion is to try a couple of packages. See if they like them or will eventually try them and decide they like them. Like I said, typical kitties.

My two cats love these sticks. My older cat likes when I break them into tiny pieces for her, but my other 2 year old kitty would eat it in one bite if I let him. Great treats.

My cat loves all 3 flavors of this treat. I break them into small pieces so he thinks he is getting more than he actually is. Recommend is only one stick a day. My cat is very picky too. He will not eat anything but his dry food, no wet food or people food.

Sheba meaty tender sticks chicken cat treats was rejected by both cats. They turned their collective noses up. I am surprised at their lack of interest.

Cats were not thrilled

I thought this would be something my cats and my mom's cats would enjoy. I love giving bones to my dogs and thought this would be the equivalent for the cats. Our of 5 cats total, none of them were thrilled about this. I ended up tearing it into pieces for the cats and putting it in their food bowl which they eventually ate. Nice idea but not for my group.

My sweet kitties get treats everyday, but my boy paws at these treats more than any others. When he hears me grab the packager, he comes running.
