The products that she was cells are excellent however I have cut my hands several times trying to separate the packages they come to attached to one you’re supposed to pull them apart but when you do that what happens as you don’t only open one most of the time both of them open and it’s a waste you either have to wrap it again and refrigerate it which is a real pain or you’re giving the cat more food than they need and I can’t afford that. The edges are extremely sharp and you need a pliers or a piece of shelf liner that’s rubbery just to get a grip on the tab that’s supposed to just pull back well it doesn’t mean as I said earlier I’ve cut my hands twice trying to open them I will not order the product again I do not think it’s very expensive. And you should not have that kind of a problem opening something and I’ve had other people try and they say the same thing.
Mom of 3 fur babies- Fur babies love this food! And despite trying other brands and watching them roll their eyes and walk away from a full bowl - this is all I am "allowed" to feed them. Packs are sealed so tightly, a good thing, but peeling back the sealed foil leaves gravy on me/hands clothes, my face and in my eye twice, the table, the ceiling, the floor and every where else it finds to land. But the cats love it. I was feeding them 1 single serve each night, which means breaking apart a twin pack...and after the 100th time of slicing a finger or 2 on the perforated side...I stopped and now they each get a twin pack. But the cats love it.
I bought this for my cat for almost ten years. Three times now, I've had this weird gunk on the bottom of the box of food. The box is not broken, torn, or ruptured, and neither are the plastic packs of food, but what must be bad food/gravy (???) is all over the bottom of the box. The first time, I figured it was a freak accident; second time, I figured it was a problem with Chewy.com. It happened once again, shame on me, and now I know it must be an issue with Sheba themselves. When this happens, my cat typically will not even go near the food, even if the food doesn't look bad, and that's how I know something in the bottom of the box must be gross. This last time, I wasn't paying enough attention and she DID try to eat the food, which made her sick. There is obviously some kind of bacteria in it as one of the unopened food packets is DISTENDED. YUCK.
No. Fur real. My cat is obsessed with this food. She literally eats it all as soon as I put it in. Don’t be foolish like me though. At first I kept doing two containers of the product for her bowl, forgetting that it’s called “perfect portions” for a reason. Only use one of the little containers. Not two!
My cat loves this brand's pate so I tried out buying this gravy type. After eating this product with his usual food, my cat had severe diarrhea after and he looked painful all night. This product contains poultry By-Products, and animal Plasma unlike their pate product, so I guess that's the reason of the diarrhea. If your cat has sensitive stomach, I wouldn't recommend this. Such a shame cuz my cat loves the taste of it..
I have two cats less than a year old. I have tried different moist foods and they are sooo picky~! I decided to try this even though it was a little more and they don't waste it! A plus for me and for them. Love the little single serve containers as well. Will continue to purchase for my picky lil eaters!
Been feeding this food over a decade, all the sudden new order made all the kitties sick. Vomiting and runny stomach. So sad because this was one of their faves. Not anymore. Trashing the rest of the box and letting other pet parents know. If your kitty is getting sick stop feeding them this brand.
I have been buying Sheba for over 20 years. Back when they had 5 ounce foil packets, to actual 3 ounce tin cans, and now these ridiculous, inconvenient "individual serving" size packets. Two of my cats were addicted to the Sheba Cuts, but I hate that they contain animal plasma and had tried for ages to get them to like the pate. They refused. I have also opened packets that contained mold because the plastic/foil packaging is NOT as secure as a can. The last straw came recently when they jacked up the price by 25%!! Ounce for ounce it's actually now the more expensive than BFF and Health Extension! Sheba is almost .40 cents an ounce, BFF is .33 cents an ounce. I'm not playing these inflated prices for by-products and animal plasma. Took me months to find something else my two picky cats would eat, but I thankfully have be able to wean them off this garbage.
I wanted to try something new so ordered two boxes of Sheba to try all flavors. So far, my two cats love this food and I think it is far better for them than other brands I have tried. There is no vomiting, and they eat everything in their bowls.
Finally a food my cat doesn’t waist. Perfect portion is the perfect description because it really is! Good quality, perfect portions to feed my cat & love the price for 48 serving. Chewy always gets the food delivered so fast so that’s a extra win. My cat loves the food and I love Chewy.
