not very functional

This is absolutely not worth the money. Where do I begin? There is no ribbing at all in this thing. I understand it needs flex for travel, but my cat’s weight makes it slump at the bottom so I can’t imagine he feels very secure. The opening you can change out for a bubble or screen is not easy to take on and off, especially with the lack of structure in the bag. You have to hold the bag in place, hold the attachment in place, AND twist on a hoop around them all perfectly aligned- hard to do with only two hands. I cannot imagine fumbling with this thing, on the go, while my cat is fussing with me, bringing me to my next point- there are no straps inside to anchor your cat’s harness inside. Without and anchor- if it’s open, your cat can jump out, so hopefully you have a good mannered cat that won’t dart off if you need to switch out the opening parts. Luckily I have sewing supplies and was able to add one in on my own, but for the price I would have appreciated this simple thing being included. And to add onto the danger of there being no anchor, the zippers can easily be pried open by my cat. He opened the side within a minute of me testing the bag around the house, and threw out the bottom lining. And here is a really big issue for me: there are no pockets or slots anywhere for anything. At the very least I would have liked something along the back or bottom I could slip my cat’s vaccination records into. Or somewhere I could place the window attachments when we’re on the go. The removable bottom padding is a joke. It doesn’t cover the whole bottom and no velcro or anything to keep it in place, so turning it onto the back for sliding under an airplane chair would need some readjustment unless you want your cat dealing with the padding flopped over them. Ultimately I’m keeping it because shipping is a nightmare for me and my cat immediately scrambled all over it, but I would not recommend this thing to anyone and I definitely regret not looking around more :/
