The peg for the air fill fell out in he’s stall. I never found it. So far he’s okay.
I have one for each horse and they all love it. Great stall enrichment
I bought this shortly after I bought my new horse. I learned that he cribs so I thought this might distract him and it does!
This toy has lasted nearly a year with horses using it for tug of war. I put carrots in sometimes but mostly it just sits in the turnout and the geldings pick it up and take it to their friends to play together and this holds up better than the jollyballs!
My daughter saved her money for a long time to buy a carrot ball for her pony. When we got the carrot ball we pumped it up and by morning it was mostly flat. Pumped it again with the same results. As always, Chewy’s customer service was amazing and they sent us a new ball. When we pumped the new one up we heard a hissssss and found a hole in one of the seams. Chewy was so kind and refunded us but my poor daughter was so disappointed. We going to try a treat ball instead.
I saw this and immediately added it to my cart. I have a draft x who is my Cookie Monster always looking for treats and constantly uses his muzzle to play with my hair pull my shirt and beg for more treats! Because he is so curious I thought it would be a good toy to use while grooming him and as a reward after a ride. Immediately when I hung up the ball he was slinging it around and grabbing carrots. You don’t have to inflate it very much and it will still hold the carrots firm enough to make the toy a puzzle for your horse. Only complaint is description says it comes with an adaptor, the adaptor is for a bike pump you need your own pump and hanging materials. I just used an old dog leash to hang as my horse is only using this under my supervision and will be taken in and out of his stall.
My horses were quickly attracted to their new ball but carrots are either too easy to pull out or large chunks get stuck in it and they lose interest. I might try getting creative with some other items to stuff in it. Large apple chunks worked too. They enjoy it for a few minutes but it's not their favorite toy.
