Challenging Puzzle

This was a fun puzzle. There were pieces that had small bits of illustration that could be branches, beaks, toes, or water ripples that were a challenge to fit. The background looks like a pale cream, but there are white lines that resemble wood grain to help you orient the pieces. I really enjoyed putting this together and I found myself naming the bird whenever I fit a piece. No bird names are on the puzzle itself. It does come with a foldout poster that identifies the birds and serves as a great reference image to help complete the puzzle. The pieces were very sturdy and locked into place very well. I felt like this was a very high-quality puzzle.
