I have two unfussy horses that were already on a couple different supplements. One went through a winter laminitis episode and I decided to try this to relieve the stress to her hooves. She wouldn't touch it. My other horse who is a total pig at least tried it but left her grain unfinished which NEVER happens. I can't imagine most horses would actually eat this without it being disguised by some sweetener or some other kind of flavoring. Definitely a waste which was a bummer because it seems to have a good ingredient mix for laminitis.
I use this on my 26-year-old mare who has a history of founder. I mix it into her grain with some flax oil and turmeric and she gobbles it up. I've noticed she's much less prone to warm feet and the farrier seems pleased, too. Love Silver Lining Herb products, and so happy Chewy carries them now.
