Simparica is given orally once a month at the recommended minimum dosage of 0.91 mg/lb (2 mg/kg).
Simparica can be offered by hand, in the food, or administered like other tablet medications. Care should be taken that the dog consumes the complete dose, and treated animals should be observed for a few minutes to ensure that part of the dose is not lost or refused. If a dose is missed, administer Simparica and resume a monthly dosing schedule. Simparica should be administered at monthly intervals.

In areas where fleas are common year-round, monthly treatment with Simparica can continue the entire year without interruption. To minimize the likelihood of flea re-infestation, it is important to treat all dogs and cats within a household with an approved flea control product.

Simparica is a great tasting chewable tablet given orally once a month. It travels in your dog's blood to safely deliver persistent continuous protection against fleas and ticks from day 1 to day 35.
Tick-borne diseases represent a widespread and growing public health hazard to dogs (and their human companions), causing debilitating illness and even death. It only takes one tick to spread disease, so continuous protection is critical to help reduce the risk of infection.
Likewise, it only takes a single "pregnant" flea to start an infestation on a dog or in a home. And although fleas are largely perceived as a mere nuisance, they too, can pose health risks to pets and humans.
My Maggie was taken off Simparacia due to Seizures! It was working just fine till the seizures started, now she has to wear a flea collar and it’s not that good. Maggie is a 2 1/2 lb Yorkie. I would recommend Simparica, just watch for seizures…
Yes it is very helpful!
This is one of the very few products that covers small dogs. This flea and tick treatment is a year round must for our midwest weather! Thankfully Chewy had it! They sent it rapidly, new and in original package!
1 of my kids was allergic 2 a different flea med, so I tried Simparica & i was satisfied with it's results. It keeps the fleas away & my kidz happy ;-). If ur not satisfied with ur current flea med, give Simparica a try.
My dog is 13 yrs old and we never had a huge issue with fleas where I lived. There were periods of time when he would go to SC and would be infested with them. All the baths didn't help so I was recommended by his vet to use Comfortis. That was amazing and we didn't have anymore issues until recently. I'm in another state now and I took him to a dog sitter who had him almost two weeks (I was out of the country and couldn't bring him with me). She had several dogs she was sitting at the time including 3 of her own. She told me she gave him a bath, but when I got home that's when I noticed the fleas. I tried to order Comfortis but unfortunately it was declined by my vet because it wasn't in his weight class. My dog is 2.8 lbs and the lowest dosage they have was 3.3 lbs. They recommended Simparica in its place and I haven't had anymore issues with fleas!
My vet recommended this product and I really like it. My dogs do well with it and it is easy to hide in their food. They are finicky treat takers so being able to put it in their food has been so easy with this pill. We travel and I love the flea and tick protection with Simparica.
I been giving my dog Simparica for almost 3 years now and I can not complain. Gets the job done and my dog has not had any problems with fleas! I would highly recommend if your looking for a great flea pill!
Thank you for providing this medicine. Our vet did not carry the small dog dose and we were in need. Your company acquired the prescription and delivered the medicine quickly. We appreciate your quick service and quality products.
I like this product because it is very small for my 5 pound Morkie to eat. The flavor must be good too because she is a picky eater and she ate this right up.
Our apartment complex is loaded with flees due to the stray cats. My poor Athena and Sparta were covered in fleas. We could not get them to go away no matter how many flea baths and combs we ran them through. We went to the vet and they were both put on the Simparica. We have not seen 1 flea on either them and it has been 3 months.
