Simparica Flea and Tick Medication

Our vet changed our dogs from Bravecto to Simparica because the fleas in our area have developed a resistance to Bravecto. The Simparica is working well. I did have issues getting the prescriptions loaded into the Chewy system, but Robert helped me work through the problems to correct the problem. Kudos to Robert. He was very easy to work with and helped get the order corrected.

Delivery

The drive delivered to the wrong house and when I got it, the box was soaked. I'm glad it didn't get ruined. That's not cheap. The driver always delivers to the wrong house. Drivers need to learn to look at the addresses and not friends on gps's they find always help. Peeples were able to find places before GPS. Sorry starting to get really frustrated with my packages always delivered to the wrong house.

Works for us

I read some of the bad reviews and was a little surprised. I haven't had any problem at all except for major success. When I met my dog a couple of years ago, he was living with my friend and his roommate. (He was in a wheelchair by the way). The roommate was the dogs owner. He was absolutely infested with fleas. I took him to the vet the next day and I've been impressed ever since his first dose. All dogs are different but it truly agrees with him.

Don’t Give

Went to a pet dermatologist, she diagnosed my 10 year old pup with a flea allergy and recommended this product. Immediately after he took it, I noticed that he had become more high strung, and the little things he does , he was no longer doing them for the month. He loves his stuffed animals , and goes nuts when the neighbors dog passes. None of that happened and his face looked more guant. He definitely had more energy and not a calm pup anymore. It’s interesting. It’s Sept 25th and he’s supposed to have another dose on the first and hos old personality is coming back again. I will not give it to him.

Easy to order

Once you order, Chewy does all the work of contacting the Veterinarian, gets the prescription, fills the prescription and sends it on its way. Usually arrives within a couple of days and the price is less expensive then the vet’s office!

Not Impressed

My dog has a really hard time with fleas every summer and I’ve tried all the ones that don’t require a prescription. This year when I found one of her fleas on me I knew I had to do something drastic. After explaining that fleas have become immune to all of the well known brands over the years, she recommended these. They are quite an investment, but figured it was worth it for us to stay flea free. Reading about the side effects kind of freaked me out but they seem to be rare so I took the chance. Month one was great. No scratching! Yay! Month two was less great. About two weeks after I gave her the pill she started scratching, and a few nights ago I got about 5 fleas off of her. The month wasn’t even up yet. Last night I gave her the third pill and today she was scratching like crazy and I found about 10 fleas on her. She’s an indoor dog too, an 80 pound cattle dog mix. It’s 100+ degrees out so when she goes out it’s not for very long. They must wait outside the door for her to come out and pounce at first sight. Not the amazing results I was hoping for unfortunately.

Great this works

I live in the country we are exposed to all kind of insects, especially fleas and ticks I raise yorkies, we also have large dogs, we have problems with fleas spring thru fall in the south. We have tried several outlet’s for flea prevention, and always come back to Simparica it simply works.

My dog loves this heartworm med. she eats it like a treat, and it’s keeps her free of heartworm, as well as flee and tick control.
