FAQ

How Does Simparica Work?

Simparica is a great tasting chewable tablet given orally once a month. It travels in your dog's blood to safely deliver persistent continuous protection against fleas and ticks from day 1 to day 35.

Why protect against fleas and ticks?

Tick-borne diseases represent a widespread and growing public health hazard to dogs (and their human companions), causing debilitating illness and even death. It only takes one tick to spread disease, so continuous protection is critical to help reduce the risk of infection.

Likewise, it only takes a single "pregnant" flea to start an infestation on a dog or in a home. And although fleas are largely perceived as a mere nuisance, they too, can pose health risks to pets and humans.

Chewy is my new pet supplier

By Tootiegirl on Aug 17, 2021

Website was easy to use. This was my first auto-ship item and it was very easy to do. I saved a lot compared to what my local vet was charging plus got free shipping. They contacted my vet for approval and it was shipped within a few days. I had no problem at all with the service. I plan to set up her dog food on auto-ship as well. If you're looking to save money and time, this is a no-brainer.

    Fleas, ticks

By Skmay on Aug 2, 2021

I love the convenience of giving a monthly pill. This medication works very well and my dog loves the taste. I used to use the seresto collar until I read about all the side effects. I thought I would miss having his collar but I don't at all. Now when he gets a bath or if it rains I don't have to worry about the collar getting wet or having to remember putting it back on once he's dry. With chewy the delivery is always dependable! Thank you

    Keep your furbaby parasite free

By Creolelj on Sep 12, 2020

I've been using this product for my 102lb German Shepherd for 18 months and it keeps him free of nasty parasites Fleas, ticks mites. If you have a black dog you know how hard it can be to see anything in and on their fur. Mine is a very furry black dog! Also BC of his size there aren't a whole lot of treatments that are effective. Most only treat dogs up to 100lbs. Zoetis also has a rewards program on products you purchase. It's a rewards point program that saves you on veterinary costs. Due to owner dumping him !So his care is quite expensive between heart meds fluid pills n prevenatives such as flea tick and heartworm prevention. Also supplements! He's only 3yrs old!! So people reading this If you Can keep your dog's on prevenatives every month. It's a small price to pay for your pets health. We love our furbaby!! I only Wish We Could Have adopted him sooner.so sad because he has been dealing with this since age 19 months. They Did not care enough to put him on a monthly heartworm n parasite prevention. It would have only cost her 10.00 per month! Chewy has great prices amazing customer service and quick deliveries they love animals & do alot for rescues so I get my meds for. My baby from them! … more
