FAQ

How Does Simparica Work?

Simparica is a great tasting chewable tablet given orally once a month. It travels in your dog's blood to safely deliver persistent continuous protection against fleas and ticks from day 1 to day 35.

Why protect against fleas and ticks?

Tick-borne diseases represent a widespread and growing public health hazard to dogs (and their human companions), causing debilitating illness and even death. It only takes one tick to spread disease, so continuous protection is critical to help reduce the risk of infection.

Likewise, it only takes a single "pregnant" flea to start an infestation on a dog or in a home. And although fleas are largely perceived as a mere nuisance, they too, can pose health risks to pets and humans.

    Simparica seems to work well

    By on

Easy to administer. Chewy does not make it possible to review the vet that you choose when ordering prescription. This makes it easy to think that you ordered prescriptions when in fact chewy is trying to contact the wrong vet.

    Crushed box

    By on

I have no issues with this product as I use it for my 3 year old and now my puppy. However all of my shipments came in boxes that were totally crushed...It was like the delivery company had a mashing game with my boxes.

Never seen a flea on my dog!

    By on

I grew up in an area where our family dogs were infested with fleas every single summer, and no matter what we did we could not get rid of them! In my first home now with my first dog I could not imagine putting him through that, so I got Simparica as soon as his first summer rolled around. I am so thankful to say that I have never seen a single flea or tick on him! He has a gorgeous coat and has never gotten sick/had any reaction to this pill. He is also a very picky eater and gobbles this right up. Could not be more happy with this product.

We've never had a problem with fleas

    By on

My dog has never had problems with fleas since we've rescued him so I guess this product works! My review is more for the price. Purchasing the item on Chewy is MUCH LESS expensive than getting it from my vet's office. Since these are prescription items, they do need to obtain vet approval, but Chewy has the option of contacting your vet directly so it's seamless on your end. I love the ease of ordering the medication and the turnaround time is always so quick! On another positive note, they're occasionally send coupons out for Rx medication so it's always great!

I was intimidated to try a new system of flea and tick care for my dogs, especially one that required an Rx. This was so easy, Chewy took care of contacting my vet and doing all that work for me. Shipped quick and its been an effective treatment so far.
