Strangely my cats refuse this food.

    By GH2022 on Aug 17, 2021 top1000Contributor

Like another said, I bought this because it was on sale and well, with five cats to feed it is always good to have a high quality food at a lower price. Plus my cats love rabbit based foods and in general will eat anything (except for the one spoiled boy). For some reason they will not eat this stuff. I gave them time to try to work it into their food schedule, mixing, etc. but they refuse and would only grudgingly nibble a few bits if it was the ONLY food available. Even then they would cry and beg to get what they deemed 'real' food and only ate just enough to stop their tummys from growling. I didn't have the heart to keep trying to force it on them and will be feeding it to the feral Like another said, I bought this because it was on sale and well, with five cats to feed it is always good to have a high quality food at a lower price. Rabbit and Chicken Recipe

By DawnJ on Aug 3, 2021

Unfortunately my cats won't eat this. I bought it because it was on sale for a really good price and hoped they would like it but they don't. The pieces of the food are a little bit bigger than what I would like for my cat's food to be. It probably is a great food for cats since it is grain free but my cat's don't care for it.

    Cats will not eat it!

By Taylor on Aug 18, 2021

I have 6 cats that range from 6 mo-4yo and not a single one will touch it. I left it all day in the bowl and they barely humored me with a few nibbles before following me around the rest of the day harassing me for real food.

    Not popular with the kitties!

By Sarah on Aug 31, 2021

I have three cats and foster a couple of others. I don’t know if it is this particular flavor but I couldn’t get any of the cats to eat it, and two of mine are not really picky eaters.

    Bad batch?

By silverfish on Jul 9, 2020

My 6 cats have eaten this brand and version for several months maybe even a year. They go between this and the fish/chicken version. Last shipment (a month ago) I noticed when I poured the food they would sniff it and walk away. That has never happened. All 6 cats refused to eat the food. It would stay on the plate for hours and none of them would touch it. This went on for a week. I would try this one first everyday. Nothing.. they would beg for food but wouldn’t touch this. I have no idea what happened but an entire bag went to waste because none of them would eat it. I would change it to the fish/chicken version and they would immediately start eating. My Cat's FAV!

By Suzie on Apr 7, 2020

Simon almost went on a strike when we ran out of Simply Nourish! I have never been so thankful to see a shipment arrive. I opened the box and took out this item only just so I could feed Simon. He gets mean and bites when he runs out of Rabbit & Chicken Recipe of Simply Nourish!

    Excellent food

By LuluRN on May 8, 2020

I have been using this food since I got my rescue 5 years ago. I was told that the rabbit is very good for her kidneys. And my cat loves it!

1 pound less food for more money

By Cassie on Oct 26, 2019

I mean the title says it all. My cats love this food, but the brand “reformulated” in September of 2019 and your now get less food for more money. It’s too bad because this USED to be a good brand that made healthy affordable food, but not any more.
