My 7-pound dog has hair not fur. Skouts Honor Unscented Detangler does an amazing job of preventing mats. I've tried everything over the years, and this is absolutely the Best. Highly Recommend.
It definitely detangles well, but it runs out rather quickly (and my dog isn't even large). It hasn't helped with itching unfortunately
I wish it came in gallon size!! I've been using another type of detangler for years, which worked quite well on my giant breed's long haired double coat. But it has a strong odor. One just refused to allow it. This was recommended for its lack of scent. I'm very happy to recommend it, as it works just as well, is easier to apply, and NO scent.
This works great on my Chow if I dilute with water and put it in a mister bottle. I spray a light amount on before brushing. Makes it much easier to get through a dense coat and leaves her fur soft. I love the absence of fragrance.
ugh was misled by all the good reviews. this stuff is like a thick lotion, just saturated my dog's fur and didn't make it any easier to brush him. And since it was just sitting there he kept licking it which I'm sure isn't good, so I had to wash him off - which I was trying to avoid in the first place since water makes mats worse
This stopped a hot spot in its tracks. I use this on my poodles almost like a lotion by applying with my hands. It doesn't work like typical detangler, but it conditions their fur and lasts long.
This bottle sprayed exactly 2 times and poorly at that before it quit spraying altogether. The detangler is a chunky thick mess, not a liquid at all. I put it into another spray bottle and added some water just to be able to try to use it but it absolutely just made my long haired miniature dachshund a greasy mess. My Australian shepherd pups hair accepted more of the conditioner but he still had greasy patches I had to try to wipe off. I had to completely bathe the dachshund after this spray. This stuff is awful and it has a funky band aid smell to it.
We have a 4 month old standard poodle who isn’t a huge fan of the brush. Well once I used this on him he let me brush all of him, with little fuss. He was professionally groomed for the first time about a week after, his groomer said he was very well brushed out. 10/10 get this! I also LOVE!! (can’t truly express) how excited I was that it’s fragrance free.
Great stuff, just wet area and let sit and tangles comb right out.
This spray works so well to brush out tangles and even just cuts down brushing time in general. It leaves the hair so soft!
