    I have 2 female white Flemish giants that are 6 months old and a bit spoiled when it comes to hay. They are picky. They won’t eat the stuff from the store because of the extra leaves and whatever is in it. They absolutely love this hay, though!     Dead mouse in box

    Purchased this based on recommendation. Our 1st 10lb box was loved by our guinea pigs even though there were a lot of pieces they would not eat. We just got our second order a week or so ago which I went with the 20lb box. Well last night about an inch or two deep into the box my 10 year old daughter Purchased this based on recommendation. Our 1st 10lb box was loved by our guinea pigs even though there were a lot of pieces they would not eat. We just got our second order a week or so ago which I went with the 20lb box. Well last night about an inch or two deep into the box my 10 year old daughter found a dead flattened mouse in a clump of hay. I totally get this is grown out in a field and nature happens however there should be a better quality control process done so a 10 year old girl does not need to see this right before bed. I am glad she was smart enough to know something was not right and did not just throw it in the piggies cage. The actual hay is fresh and green. … more
