This bedding is soft and you get a decent amount out of it. I would say I can do about 2 full cage cleanings per bag (in a 2x5 grid cage, while spot cleaning once every night). The piggies love it! Just need to break it up once you take it out of the bag because it is clumped together in the vacuum sealed bag. Doesn’t really have a scent to it so it’s not harmful to the piggies. I have yet to find a bedding I like more than this!

At first I thought this bedding seemed a bit pricy. But when I received the bag and started using it for guinea pigs I realized that there was so much more bedding in the bag. Since it's packed in and I assume vacuum sealed the bedding gets clumped together. When I put the bedding in I have to sit and break apart each clump, but overall great bedding.

Great price value as my 24"x48" guinea pig enclosure 3" deep requires only 1/10th of the bag each time! The only reason I subtracted a star is because with pine pellets and other paper bedding types I usually only have to empty and change it once a week. This type gets soiled pretty rapidly around day 4 so I add another inch of bedding to extend the "life" of it until day 7 when I change the whole thing. Doesnt dust up when dumping, pigs dont try to eat it, and it isnt flung out by the pigs playing :)

I have a dwarf hamster and two guinea pigs, I was surprised it lasted me a month. I feel like it didn't absorb the odor as much as would of wanted it to but it had a very nice and fluffy texture.

I bought this for my dwarf hamster after using only Clean and Cozy. I bought the 56L bag just to try it out because it was supposed to be less dusty. It is definitely less dusty. It is a little stiffer than C&C, but still soft enough for a hamster. I was disappointed by how little the bedding expanded. My ham is in a 40g breeder, and the entire bag covered the cage only ~4 inches deep (for comparison, ~1/3 of the 85L C&C covers the same cage ~6 inches deep). It also had a very mild smell coming out of the bag. If my hamster seems to really love this bedding more than the C&C, I will continue to use it by mixing it in with C&C, but I think unless you really need the low-dustiness of this bedding I bought this for my dwarf hamster after using only Clean and Cozy. Our girls LOVE this bedding. Every time I put fresh bedding in, they immediately flop down in it for a rest. They’ll nap there, or grab some hay and lay down and chew for a while like tiny cows. It’s adorable and they obviously find it to be comfortable! It also lasts for a long time; one bag can last for quite a while, especially if you only have a couple pigs or if you aren’t filling up the whole cage (we just fill some boxes near their hay so it lasts us ages!). It’s a large bag and the bedding fluffs up when you take it out, so you got a ton for your money. Don’t hesitate to choose this!

This paper bedding is absorbent... yet it does not do a good job with the odor. Very disappointed as I purchased two giant bags ...... Will be changing to something else later.

Very fluffy and just right for my syrian hamster to nest and burrow. I mix it with a bit of aspen.
