Lifesaver for those with orphaned kittens
I was a little skeptical of the cost when I bought this, but it's been a great investment! I'm currently fostering two 4-week-old orphaned kittens that recently started exhibiting some fairly aggressive cross-sucking behaviors. As such, we've had to separate them whenever we can’t watch them closely, and the snuggle kitty has helped immensely with our worries about separation anxiety! The kittens sleep against the toy consistently, and at least one of them has found the heartbeat realistic enough to try suckling on the toy to self-soothe. It's absolutely wonderful, and we're considering buying a second so they can each have one!
Awesome Snuggle Kitty
So happy I purchased the Snuggle Kitty for my 3 week old all alone kitten. He still snuggles up to it each time he takes a nap. I know it must have given him comfort because of the feel of the fur and the heartbeat.
What a sweet toy
I sent for two of these kitty snuggle toys, one because I thought my dear nearly-16-year-old Minnie would love it, and the other for a present. We suddenly lost Minnie a short while before these arrived. It was devastating. But I realized that her sister (Wilbur) might like it, even though she has never liked toys very much and is more of a loner than lovable Minnie was. I also realized the gray stripey kitty toy looks a lot like Minnie. When we activated the purr and heated it up, Wilbur came right over and lay down beside it--not on it--and went to sleep. I'm so glad we got it. The purr is purrfect, very soft and soothing, and very much like a real cat, with undulating sounds like a real purr. It makes great white noise in the room. The kitty is soft and sweet, and the hard battery part is on the bottom, so if a cat wants to snuggle up to it or lie on top of it, it won't matter. It's washable, too, so that's great. I'm very happy with the purchase, even though it is pricey, and I recommend it over others I've bought that only purr or only heat up. Wilbur's happy, too.
Soft and Cute but.....
The mama kitty is very soft and has a realistic heartbeat, however my 4 month kitten just ignored it. I think it would work for a younger kitten though.
My kitten will love this
I rescued a 8 week old abandoned kitten in August, and since then she follows me everywhere. Hopefully this toy will help soothe her while I'm doing other things.

Needs improvement
The heart beat is too intense. It should be like the ones for infant children. The fur could be fake furr as it would be more lifelike wether short or long. Lastly , if it were in a curved shape like a nursing mom then it would not have scared our newborns. So we cover it with a favorite blanket and tuck it underneath and the new borns climb over it and are not as scared with the heartbeat off of course.
Just What the Kitten Needed
I sent this to my kitten niece, my sister adopted her because the Mom (really a kitten herself) stopped wanting to care for her kittens. Unfortunately as with many kittens that don't stay with their Moms long enough the kitten is having issues. This has helped tremendously and helps to soothe her. I actually saw this on a TikToc and it really did the trick. Kitty is happy and my sister is getting sleep.
Does not control odor and poorly clumps
I prefer lightweight clumping litter because easier to carry and dispose of with four cats. After using tidy cat lightweight clumping for years, I decided to try fresh step as a more cost effective alternative. I guess you get what you pay for. Unlike tidy cat, this litter does not cause tight dry clumps. Plus you can smell the cat waste even after removing the waste, so it has to be fully changed much more frequently than the tidy cat. Sticks to the litter box more as well. I will spend the extra money for tidy cat as in the long run it is more cost effective since the whole litter box doesn’t need to be changed out as frequently. I have four litter boxes, so definitely wasn’t a cost saver in the end.
Purrfect for young kittens
We have a 6 week bottle fed kitten who was orphaned at 2 weeks old. I purchased this and Ernie took to it immediately, it helps soothe him when we can’t be near him.
