Love at first sight :p
By Buster on Feb 25, 2021
Buster loved his stuffy right when he saw it and immediately started snuggling with it! He is noticeably more snuggly with this stuffy than any other stuffies that he has! My 5 year old was sad that our pup isn’t with his mom anymore and this settled his heart a little knowing he might feel like he’s with his mom or siblings while sleeping at least! Happy with our purchase!

Heart Dog is AWESOME
By bryannadavis on Feb 2, 2021
We just got our 8 week old puppy 3 days ago. We are currently crate training her & we were having such a hard time with her whining, barking, waking up in the middle of the night to whine. Got this earlier today & introduced it to her for her nap. She whined for 30 minutes before, barking etc. about 5 minutes in this is what she looked like. She loves it! We went down to check on her for another nap & she was sprawled out on top of it. Now, she is in her crate for the night & only whined for 6 or 7 minutes and fell asleep. Before it was like an hour before she’d fall asleep & she would wake up. HIGHLY recommend if you’re trying to crate train a pup that recently left its litter mates!

Don’t Bother
By QueenBee on Feb 24, 2021
I honestly thought this was going to be a great idea which is why I bought it. It’s not the products fault by any means. It just doesn’t work for all dogs. My puppy thought it was a chew toy and keeps trying to eat him. I wish it would have worked cause I was ready to give this 5 stars. Honestly I would say don’t waste your money because it’s a hit or miss. Hopefully down the line he likes to cuddle with it and will stop trying to eat it.

DONT USE FOR CRATE TRAINING!
By AnxiousVizsla on Feb 2, 2021
Summary: don't leave this in the crate!! This company markets this snuggle puppy for crate training. It was the only soft toy we allowed in our 8 week old puppy's crate because it was supposed to be "so good" for anxious dogs. We even gave it to the breeder early so she could put it in the whelping box and have the scent of his littermates on it. Well... one night later, he ate one of the stuffed puppy's ears and its tail overnight! We are so worried for our puppy! So far he seems fine, but we're on alert looking for signs of intestinal blockage. My advice: let them cry it out... they'll get over it. WAY better than having to worry for hours, weeks, etc. and pay for surgery and have the puppy Summary: don't leave this in the crate!! This company markets this snuggle puppy for crate training. My new puppy loved it
By Cleo on Jan 31, 2021
At first when I saw the price I was hesitant. Our puppy was 12 weeks when we got her. She would whimper when I put her in the crate to sleep at night. Once I put that in she snuggled against it and went to sleep. We’ve had her for almost two months and she loves to sleep with it every night. I do t play the heart beat all the time. Only if I see she’s feeling anxious but she loves snuggling it as she goes to sleep at night

Finnegan’s favorite sleep buddy
By Finn on Jan 28, 2021
I purchased this for my new puppy hoping the heartbeat would help him feel more comfortable in his new home. Unfortunately the sound of it is mechanical and it actually scares him. With that being said, although I am not using the sound, it is his favorite thing to sleep with. Pricey when it able to use the heartbeat but I am still happy he has it.

Buy this for your puppy!
By Jodi on Feb 9, 2021
We recently adopted an 8 week old puppy who was crying, whining, and barking all of the time. We gave her regular stuffed animals to help her adjust but they didn’t help her. The first night that we put this stuffed dog in with her, she slept almost all night! It has helped her adjust to being without her litter mates and mom easily, which makes us very happy.

Must have!
By cherri0196 on Feb 7, 2021
My pup's new bestie. We got it to help her sleep through the night, but now she just loves to sleep on it no matter the time of day or night. So far it's holding up well to some chewing, and overall seems to help calm her down and get some good sleep. Worth the money for sure.

Love this toy!
By Kimmy on Jan 22, 2021
I love this and so does my pup. I recommend rubbing it on his mom or litter mates if you can. He’s been sleeping with it ever since we brought him home. I’m not a huge fan of the pulse thing and I think that’s where the price is coming from. That’s the only reason it got 4 stars. Otherwise, love this! My pup is comforted at night and warm, he sleeps so well.

initially worked, but heartbeat leads to bedtime refusals
By Sarah on Jan 3, 2021
We bought this item after a friend recommended it, not to mention its stellar reviews at helping ease puppies into new homes and facilitating crate training. For mini poodle's first few nights, we used the heat pad and the heartbeat device (thanks to the reviewers who suggested putting the heat pad in a ziplock baggie in the AM--we were able to get two nights of heat out of one pad!). She cried intermittently for about 15 minutes the first night and 90 minutes the second night. After that, we stopped using the heating pads but still used the heartbeat device, since we didn't think it was helping much and wanted to save the extra heat pads for other difficult nights (first night somewhere new We bought this item after a friend recommended it, not to mention its stellar reviews at helping ease puppies into new homes and facilitating crate training. She cried intermittently for about 15 minutes the first night and 90 minutes the second night. After that, we stopped using the heating pads but still used the heartbeat device, since we didn't think it was helping much and wanted to save the extra heat pads for other difficult nights (first night somewhere new, visiting others, boarding). Over the next two weeks we noticed that our puppy became increasingly reluctant to go into her crate at bedtime. My partner noticed that she would perk up and seem anxious as soon as we turned on the heart beat device, so we started waiting to activate it until we put it in the crate for the night. Once we forgot to turn it on and saw she fell asleep fine without it. Since then, we've stopped using the heartbeat and heat pads, but we still leave the toy in the crate every night just in case she would miss it. Although it is expensive given that we're no longer using it as it was designed, I will say that I'm still glad we bought it. When we first got our puppy she was so tiny that, without this toy, she would've had way too much room in her crate and probably would've had more accidents (even with the crate divider installed at the halfway point). So, all in all, it was a good purchase, but it is hard to know if it was really a make-or-break/necessary item. … more
