Snuggle Puppy is a favorite!
I actually bought two Snuggle Puppies - one for upstairs, and one for downstairs, before I brought home my 3 month old Yorkshire Terrier. The honest truth is that I’m not sure the heat or the beating heart made all that much difference. It didn’t bother her, but I learned that this toy was a super favorite whether it was turned on or not. I think it has something to do with the size and comfortable plushness of the toy. The first picture I have of Charlotte was of her piled on top of one of her two litter mates. She does the same thing with SP. She is now 7 1/2 months old and still hauls SP around with her. the other night I felt her get on top of me in the middle of the night. I groaned, but thought ok. Then there was a PLOP!, and I realized she hauled Snuggle Puppy up there with her. I grabbed SP and put him beside me, then PLOP! he was back on top. It took about 8 tries for me to convince Charlotte she was welcome, but SP could sleep beside us. I would absolutely recommend the Snuggle Puppy to anyone coming home with a new puppy.
Joey's New Best Friend!
This is the second "Snuggle Puppy" for my little guy (1 year old Shetland Sheepdog). I now keep one on the main floor of the house and on the second floor. He absolutely loves his "Snuggle Puppy"! He loves to toss it in the air, then run and fetch it. He'll also brings it to us to play 'catch'. This is the only toy that he will lay down with and fall asleep. The 'beating heart' of this toy is unique. It really does continue beating for up to 8 hours. ***He's somewhat afraid of thunderstorms...yet, when I put his "Snuggle Puppy" with him...it really does comfort him***. I'm very grateful that this was available. This would, definitely, make a wonderful gift!
Great for a Grieving Pet
One of our dogs passed away recently and the other was completely lost without his liter-mate. He developed separation anxiety and did not want to be away from my husband & I. He would not sleep through the night which means we weren’t sleeping through the night. We thought we would give the Snuggle Puppy a try and it worked wonders. He slept the whole night the first night we put the Snuggle Puppy by him. We kept it close by him wherever he was for about a week or so, now we just keep it in his bed. If we ever leave him alone for more than a couple of hours, we always come home to find him cuddled up with his snuggle buddy!
MUST FOR PUPPIES & SEPARATION ANXIETY
We adopted Sirius in July and have been through training, in kennel training, tossed stomach, bloat, tore up carpet, vinyl, destroyed several gates, kennels, and doors. With the help of training and figure out his needs this toy has really seems to him at ease. Sirius struggles at bedtime and when we leave. We put the heartbeat on and place the toy in his kennel. We found each time he holds the toy and rests his head on top. He has decreased his anxiety behaviors by 80% which is HUGE for him and a house saver for us!
This worked perfectly for my pup. She was 11 weeks old when I brought her home; the first night I put her in the crate in our bedroom with the Snuggle Puppy, with heartbeat on but without heat pack. She whimpered for perhaps 3-5 minutes, and I talked to her. Then she stopped, and settled. And has slept every night since then. When I awake, I find her in the morning most often with her chin on the Snuggle Puppy. This is definitely worth a try for a new puppy.
We absolutely live the Snuggle Puppy
I can’t say enough about this puppy! Our foster mom suggested it and thank goodness she did! Our puppy loves his puppy and slept through the night on the first night. We find our pup draped over his puppy and cuddled up against him all of the time. This is a MUST for new puppies!
All puppies need!
I have a 10 week puppy (7 when I got her) and she was crying the first 2 nights until I got this. She went to sleep and has been doing so well since! I really think everyone who gets a new puppy should have this. I’ve trained two puppies in the past and didn’t have this. Wish I did back then! Definitely would get again. Don’t forget to purchase extra heat packs!
Must Have for Anxious Pups
I have a 4 year old pug with major separation anxiety. I bought this to set my own mind at ease when I leave him home alone, and he loves it! I turn the heart beat on before I leave the house and I’ve come home from work to find him snuggling with it in his crate. One night I found my cat snuggling with it too! It is adorable and it helps all of us feel less anxious.
Love this product
We got an 8 week old Golden retriever puppy. He absolutely loves his snuggle puppy! With our new puppy came Kennel training. He came from a litter of 8 puppies. With him we only needed the heart beat part not the heating pad. He sleeps with it every night. All we have to do is turn on the heart beat if he's anxious.
I purchased this prior to bringing home my new beabull puppy home. I can’t say FOR SURE it’s the dog that calmed him, but I think it really did! His first night in the crate he slept from 11:30-7a when I had to wake him. He’s been attached at our hips for naps. Today I laid him down in his bed turned on puppy and he is fast asleep on his own. Highly recommend. Also- the warms stay warm for a LONG time.
