WONDERFUL TOY
First purchased the kit (Smart Pet Love New Puppy Starter Kit, Neutral) Loved it and purchased just the behavioral puppy for a friend who was on a fund raising event for 6 weeks. Friend slept for weeks - giving her scent to toy. It worked so well! Other than... husband had dog and toy puppy to sleep with (hee-hee)! The puppy is VERY, VERY well made. No seams to burst. Sturdy! Suggest buying a color near your dog. THIS IS WONDERFUL So is CHEWY!!!! Thay are the best!
2nd Purchase
This is a great toy, and the second time I have purchased. We bought 1 for our two littermates when they were little moyen poodle pups for the heartbeat and snuggle factor. Now, at a year and a half, they still play with with the toy. But, one of our poodles and the toy now lives with our daughter and we had to replace it. Both dogs carry this stuffed dog around and pretend at killing it; so, it really takes a beating. The toy has remained in perfect shape through numerous washings and tough play. I highly recommend for play as well as for comfort and calming for little pups.
perfect for sick doggos
My poor Boston terrier was diagnosed with heartworms soon after we adopted her, so she had to go through the 2 to 3 month protocol of staying crated and calm. This toy was a lifesaver! If she got restless, I'd put it into her crate with her and turn on the heartbeat, and she would immediately calm down. (Please note: As soon as she got better and didn't need to be crated and soothed constantly, she tore this up :))
Anxiety Toy Love
I had to purchase this toy for 4th of July and it was a lifesaver I gave it to my English bulldog and he absolutely stayed calm the whole entire night I highly recommend if you have a dog that is very scared and has a lot of anxiety from his last past trauma I recommend love love this toy !! Absolutely get ! it’s my second time purchasing it .. because he destroyed the first one lol

I loved it, my pet sleeps wonderfully, it comes with an envelope of litter (I think), and it warms up on its own. My puppy sleeps very well, I would definitely buy it again if I have another baby.
Snuggle Puppy is a favorite!
I actually bought two Snuggle Puppies - one for upstairs, and one for downstairs, before I brought home my 3 month old Yorkshire Terrier. The honest truth is that I’m not sure the heat or the beating heart made all that much difference. It didn’t bother her, but I learned that this toy was a super favorite whether it was turned on or not. I think it has something to do with the size and comfortable plushness of the toy. The first picture I have of Charlotte was of her piled on top of one of her two litter mates. She does the same thing with SP. She is now 7 1/2 months old and still hauls SP around with her. the other night I felt her get on top of me in the middle of the night. I groaned, but thought ok. Then there was a PLOP!, and I realized she hauled Snuggle Puppy up there with her. I grabbed SP and put him beside me, then PLOP! he was back on top. It took about 8 tries for me to convince Charlotte she was welcome, but SP could sleep beside us. I would absolutely recommend the Snuggle Puppy to anyone coming home with a new puppy.
Not what I expected but kinda works
The snuggle puppy in and if it self is pretty useful. I have a standard poodle puppy (13 weeks) and if he had access to this toy full time it would be destroyed by now. I give it to him usually at nights and in long car rides and he bites it until he calms down until he falls asleep. A great aide but the size it a bit small, my pup is easily larger then it. I think that’s why he treats it like a toy.
Puppy loved it until it broke
I recently bought this for my new puppy. He loved the heartbeat sound. It helped him fall asleep pretty quickly, which was really nice. The only problem is that the heartbeat piece just stopped working. It's a bummer that that happened-- I only had it for a couple weeks.
Puppy Friend
Brought our new puppy home last week and the Snuggle Puppy has been so helpful with crate training, especially at night. We've used the heartbeat and it seems to have helped him settle each time we get up to let him out and then put him back in his crate. The heartbeat has a 8 hour or 24 hour setting.

My Goldendoddle loves his snuggle buddy since the day Bo who is now 8 months old came home :) He sleeps with him and plays with him all y to he time.
